  • The High Priestess is based on the female version of the Pope. She represents the unconscious mind, wisdom, and the Divine feminine. She has a deep connection to her intuition and represents a time of going inward and deepening your relationship with your higher self. Her message is that you must listen to your quiet inner voice in order to figure out your soul’s purpose.
    On the downside, the High Priestess in a reversed position can mean that you are not trusting your intuition, that you are experiencing emotional blockages, or that you have become disconnected from your spiritual beliefs.

    Great video. I use the Crowley Tarot deck. It gives me so much more symbolism to work with. HAve you ever used Crowleys cards?

      Thanks for your lovely comment. I completely agree that the Crowley deck is much more interesting. Honestly I don't love the original RWS deck but I feel like it is a good basis for people who are just learning. My favorite is the Radiant Rider Waite deck -- richer images but still in the spirit of the original deck.
