Old fashioned is definitely A tier, arguably S tier. The boys are on point there. I just ordered a smokey old fashioned at a restaurant in Pennsylvania and it was 🔥. As an avowed whiskey drinker, the old fashioned is my go to cocktail, closely followed by the gold rush.
Mojito might be the best thing on this list imo, i know its not very popular compared to most of these but just my opinion. Also ive only ever had a martini 1 time, and it was made by an old guy who was the classiest bartender i have ever met, im not wealthy but that dude should be getting tipped by millionaires and not me, but when i asked about martini's he said "ya know frank sinatra used to drink martinis" and i said, hes cool and made good music, but honestly that means nothing to me about the drink... he chuckled and did a soft i got you point at me and said "ill make you a martini". He then chilled gin, stuffed so big ass olives with blue cheese, stabbed them and poured the gin onto them in a glass... thats it, i dont like blue cheese (the actual cheese part) and straight gin isnt exactly tasty, but they smoothed out eachother, and it was really good. Best 12 dollar (plus tip) 4oz (guessing) drink ive ever had. And understand that if he just told me what he was going to do before making it i probly would have said no thanks... so your disgust is warranted but was proven wrong in my experience.
