Hello to those taking the May 2025 AP Physics 1 Exam! This video does NOT fully reflect the changes made by the College Board to this year's exam - a new unit, Fluids, has been added along with some other minor tweaks. Stay tuned for the 2025 video!
GOATED, had 7 APs over the last 2 weeks. This is my last one and I'm so burnt out. Thank you for making this review! (Praying for a 5, my teacher wasn't very good at explaining, cramming it all yesterday and today)
Idk why this doesn't have more views, it's a wonderful recap that explains and relates concepts while also listing all the possible types of problems where you can apply them. Legit organized the review for the final exam super well, which saved me sm time too :)
This is awesome. I'm taking AP physics this year, and im absolutely terrified. So far I have pre-studied Kinematics and this was incredibly helpful to see that I'm on the right track. Do you have this absolutely beautifully made whiteboard thing as some sort of picture that I can zoom in and review things like you are here outside of the video?
Hey! Glad this is helping. I made this on OneNote (sort of far away from beautiful, but we made it work lol) so I can’t publicly share the link here for privacy reasons. You’ll do great! This video does not cover the new unit Fluids + some other small things that were added, but we will work to release a updated full content review soon!
@@Bread10010 Aw shucks. Thanks for your support. We'll upload unit review guides to our website (link in bio) this month. As with all our videos, they'll be 100% free.
currently 1 hour 10 minutes before the exam… me and my friends did a huuge study session last night and this should be the final thing to push me to a 3 or above! i wish everyone good luck!
Awesome video 🙏🙏🙏🙏really wish I knew about 21:10 sooner so i truly understood why the tension forces magically cancel out when i use the newton 2nd law equation

Since we also have to account for Fg when we use the 5 kg mass, it just eliminated a small step. But, we can still solve for the same tension: Fnet = ma Fnet = Fg - Tension m = 5 kg a = 7 m/s^2 Fg = (9.8x5) (49N) - Tension = 5 x 7 Tension = 14 N Hope this answers your question!

Great!
At 21:53, why do you use 2kg for the mass instead of 5 kg?
Since we also have to account for Fg when we use the 5 kg mass, it just eliminated a small step. But, we can still solve for the same tension:
Fnet = ma
Fnet = Fg - Tension
m = 5 kg
a = 7 m/s^2
Fg = (9.8x5)
(49N) - Tension = 5 x 7
Tension = 14 N
Hope this answers your question!
@@PrepworksEducation that definitely helps. I just wanted to make sure so I didn't use the wrong mass on the actual exam.
