great video, as always i watch them all, tactical bassin i been watching for years and has helped me be a better bass fisherman than any other channel, thank you guys for not being a selfish channel like so many others and sharing you're top secrets with everyone
@grimtasticbaits No, they been doing this from day one, and their hard work has paid off, so sure as they popular now they are able to make good money advertising products, and im glad thats a blessing for their familys. As for content they the same as they started from video 1, they work hard on telling us techniques. You need to learn to enjoy life and think more positive, we all live a short life, we shouldnt waste it on being jealous of others.
So you don’t think they are salesmen? You don’t think year after year they sound like a record on repeat? Ok. Agree to disagree and I am not jealous at all. Just stating the facts.
I have thoroughly enjoyed learning from you over the years. Thank you for helping me make many fishing memories over the past decade. Your success is well deserved.
I have watched all of the buyers guide videos i have been watching you guy's channel for about 5 years now and its my favorite channel very educational and very informational i have learned alot about bass fishing even thou i am a bank fishermen you guy's channel has help me catch more fish and i want to thank you guy's for that happy holidays to you guy's family and i appreciate your time and effort you guys put in for these videos
My first technique-specific setup I ever bought was a 6'10 M SLX/SLX 70. It's one of my favorite combos and it plays well with lots of other techniques too!
You guys are spot on about the color thing.. the other day I could ONLY get bit on a bright lime green with a very very pink belly jerkbait.. the bite was epic and explosive but they wouldn’t even touch anything and I mean anything else color wise. Now I just need to get a dedicated jerkbait rod i am big time lacking there my 6’10 medium heavy doesn’t hit like I like its way too aggressive. If anyone is feeling generous I wear a size 6-10 in Expride medium fast 😂😂😂😂
I have two spin cast rods in my boat. Both are Ronin's with budget Shimano 2500's. Super versatile rod. Great for a fluke. Good bang for the buck. I use a quality 10 lb flouro almost exclusively on them.
O.S.P also makes a few jerkbaits that give a bang for the money. In fact, my go-to jerkbait for BFS is the O.S.P Asura Durga. 4 grams and casts a mile with that weight transfer. I also notice Raid Japan slowly getting more love in the U.S. They have a full-sized jerkbait called the Level Minnow. My local anglers call it the "magic minnow", and for a good reason. I daresay that it might even rival the Vision 110.
I was skeptical about using a spinning rod for jerkbait fishing (Randy Blaukat)….it is without a doubt the best way to fish a jerkbait 90% of the time. Best move/change I ever made fishing in colder water.
I just put together matt's favorite jerk bait combo and I don't regret it one bit. My wife and wallet seem to be upset though I can't figure out why. It's such a great setup!
Hey Tim and Matt. Have you had much fishing time with the Berkley Stunna 112? Seem to get more action on the Stunna than the Megabass 110 in Zimbabwe for some reason
They are included in the TW sale. Continue the checkout process to the "review your order" page to see the discounts before you click "purchase". I just bought 5 Megabass jerkbaits from TW.
For the price(on sale ) it’s a great multi species catcher, imo. try it on a rivers, I’ve caught a few nice bass , several nice stripers, cutthroats & rainbows, & it caught me my first king salmon @ 7.4# too! I even Bent the stock hooks out on a huge striper but my knots held-I just gotta reset drag & not muscles the big’uns! I modify the mavrik rear treble to a feather treble hook , none of the feather hooks lasted a full season cuz they get destroyed! I think the dressed feather hooks ‘sell it’ on the pause as the feathers give secondary movement?
@@yummygogolak They aren't doing these videos for the fun of it I assure you. "Links in the description below" isn't for our convenience. Its for $$$. I applaud them for it and would 100% be doing the same! They are smart but let's ALL be smart and not chase new trends when we already have boxes of baits that perform day in and day out.
I’ve never really cared for Megabass jerkbaits . Probably just me . I’m not an expert jerkbait fisherman. But I catch more on susoending rogues and strike King.
Rogues especially were getting bit long before MB baits started making baits. I remember the Staysee 90’s being the “it” jerkbait of the pros. I used to tear fish up on old school Rapalas, Yozuri crystal minnows and Daiwa pin minnows. Point is if it works for you, fish it.
Thank you for the info - I fit into the spinning rod for throwing jerk baits category - looking into the MB Orochi XX Ronin and MB P5 Destroyer Windbuster
Almost every jerkbait on TW is on sale… you have to add it to the cart to see the discount. I buy Megabass vision 110s from Japanese sites for around $13 anyway.

I have like 60 crank baits and 10 combos after discovering yall, I need to turn off the notifications 😭😭😭
I went from no cranking rods to 12 this year. The wallet sure does feel it haha
That's how I was before I got bit by the swim bait bug. 😂

If price isn’t a problem, the ronin with an existing is phenomenal.

You guys are my tackle spending muses 🤣
So many good jerk baits on the market. Duo Realis. Berkley Stunna. SK KVD. 6th Sense Provoke, Lucky Craft. Etc. Much better price point too.
I love the MB Ronin so much that i may pick up another one since it's $100 off.
This is a great series, thanks for all of the hard work. Quick question, what knot do you use to tie on a jerk bait?
I wish the Megabass baits would go on sale just once. Always excluded from tackle warehouse sales.
Megabass themselves are to blame because they don’t allow discounts or sales.

Fellas for as much as you love jerkbait fishing you need to get your hands on a 6'8" MXF St. Croix Legend Xtreme, absolute perfection
jerkbait on a spinning is the way to go. the zippp factor is unbeatable
Hey Tim & Matt, i challenge u to do a video on a lure i don't have 😂 good luck...I'm starting to shake...better place an order
Matt, Tim: do I need to upgrade the vision 110 junior plus 1 trebles immediately or just once they get damaged?
I need to borrow $50,000 so I can go buy 4 of every bait, tool, storage box, rod and reel ya'll showed us in these videos lol
I don't see what's so special about Mavriks other that they are new. I tried them and went back to old reliable Pointers and Duos.

People complain about high price but I've lost one in 3 years 😂. They work anywhere and run true.
I know there were way more jerkbaits you guys recommended over the years, are these just meant to be bought because they are best for cold water?
I get my 589.00 worth of jerkbaits and few cranks delivered today. Opinion on the TLO? Spring time? that lovely red/orange color
What do you think of the met 70 compared to the alde for jerkbaits?
Both are AMAZING! That's a "can't go wrong" situation.
I'm glad I watched the whole thing. I was hoping for a storage video.
My bank account is in therapy for depression...it says it feels so empty inside😅
Anyone else have issues with the mavericks weight transfer sticking and messing up the action?
