i cant seem to get enough listening to this song... ridiculously beautiful and brilliantly executed by these men...it just gives a new meaning to the whole song..thank you OMA ..
Just One Voice, Singing in the darkness, All it takes is One Voice, Singing so they hear what's on your mind, And when you look around you'll find There's more than One Voice, Singing in the darkness, Joining with your One Voice, Each and every note another octave, Hands are joined and fears unlocked, If only One Voice Would start it on its own We need just One Voice Facing the unknown, And that One Voice Would never be alone It takes that One Voice. Ba ba ba da da da da, Ba ba ba ba ba ba da da da, Ba ba ba ba ba ba It takes that one voice Just One Voice Singing in the darkness, All it takes is One Voice, Shout it out and let it ring. Just One Voice, It takes that One Voice, And everyone will sing!
Great performance but can't beat the original by Barry. This is why Manilow fans the world over just scream for Original music by the gifted composer. Gorgeous composition and for a real treat check out the original 1979 Manilow version where Barry does all the vocals himself.
Despite the fact that this recording with the first note and word having been clipped off ... it's worth hearing over and over. Is reliance upon amplification the "new ideal" now? Where there are live acoustics I've always preferred without amplification - lending true credibility to ensemble sound. Perhaps it's the modern "ideal" of sound that's 3 feet away. You've done an admirable job of balance and blend gentlemen, though one singer sings with noticeable tension and a high larynx.
This song should be a anthem for world peace and unity
Barry Manilow writes heavenly songs - these gents sing to the heavens and all the world.... unbelievably beautiful
Beautiful, can sit and listen to these all day.
I wonder if Mr. Manilow has seen this. I think it would win his respect and admiration.
WOW! One Voice, Barry Manilow 1979. Excellent job!!

Wonderful Barry Manilow song, wonderfully sung.

Great song but Del Boy did it better.
Does anyone know the names of the soloists??
Nah. Not my favourite version of this. Seemed to be a bit rushed.
