- Jesus' triumphal entry into Jerusalem was an exciting time, but many of the people who shouted, "Hosanna!" on that day would be demanding His death less than a week later. In this message, we learn about Jesus' countenance in the week leading up to His crucifixion.
This teaching is from our series 43 John - 2016 with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Albuquerque.
Yes may we be the willing channels to lead people to Jesus ... n may our lives shine forth His glory tt others may be drawn to Jesus.

I really like Skip. I wish I knew him personally. I could listen to his knowledge all day and I'm LDS. We don't judge and Skip don't twist or spin the verses to make his church look better. I believe he is a man of God.

I agree with Skip and Jenny are trying to share with you. Sometime we as humans only like to hear things that warm our hearts, tickle our ears, but the real truth is loving someone to tell them the truth. That’s what we are saying here. If you truly respect Pastor Skip and knew Jesus wasn’t just another prophet, brother to Lucifer and that Jesus WAS AND IS THE SON OF GOD that as you are listening to Pastor Skip preach..Jesus came to dwell among His chosen people that they might believe. The Jews are His chosen, but they were stubborn to hear the truth and truly believe He was who He said He was among them . They felt threat to lose everything if they actually did believe in Him. God gives us free choice to believe or not. So, in saying all that..the Word of God, Bible the Lord say their is no other Books after Revelations in the New Testament, so that means the Mormon, Quran, and whatever others can stand…to the Word of God. They have all made up their own version to mimic the true Word of God and then added their man made instructions to keep folks imprisoned in those religions. Jesus even addressed the chief priests, leaders of their wicked preaching of the true Word of God, so they could benefit for themselves. It’s awful. Dear friend, we say this intruth. Look into the Wilder Family testimony videos, who were very into the Mormon church, had a hard time,but found the real truth. Great, great family that now know the truth. Jesus says in His Word…it’s not of works that a man should boast..BUT, by grace alone…only by God,s grace, Him dying on the Cross for us that we maybe filled with the Holy Spirit and be saved. And, I say it that way, bc when you are saved, acknowledge that Jesus is truly God and you are in need of a Savior, you are filled with the Holy Spirit, instead of the what the Mormon church teaches that you need to do works and ALWAYS be walking as close to the Holy Spirit , trying to stay away from evil or doing evil. You can’t do that it’s impossible in this evil world..why not be saved and filled with the Holy Spirit and let God do that for you instead of us humans trying to do it ourselves and we always fail..bc we are in need of exactly the Savior..Jesus is. Still unbelievers today, denying that Jesus CAME into His kingdom 2000 years ago. God judged perfectly those who denied King Jesus and His Kingdom in 70 A.D. Will He also judge you because of YOUR unbelief?

Love Skips teachings, but he spends a half an hour on the first 10 verses, then has to motor through the rest of the verses. We miss out out his in depth teaching on the latter verses.

When you've been a pastor for 40 years and know the word like he does it's second nature. Also sometimes if you watch he has a few note cards in his Bible. He started that church in 79.

I am confused about the date. I thought BC meant before Christ and AD after death. So how could Jesus enter into Jerusalem in 32 AD?
fainbrown: A.D. Means "ANNO DOMiNI", Which means (latin) In the year of our LORD. Or,
ANNO DOMINI NOSTRI JESUS CHRISTI, which translates to, " in the year of our LORD JESUS CHRIST. So 32 AD Literally means 32 years (apporx.) since the birth of THE CHRIST.
