ycg has said they dont plan on making any updates to showdown aside from bug fixes, not even to make balance changes. you can play online w parsec or steam remote play but online play from yacht club doesnt seem like a thing that'll happen

I really love King of Cards I almost 100%ed it but I’m missing a few cards.
Didn’t get all the achievements or the challenge mode ones yet
KO_MAN you can get the item that tells you where the missing cards are
Most cards are just from Chester so just grind the one enchantress stage

Yacht Club is so cool. They released an awesome game for like $15, and then, over the years, they added more and more playable characters with their own campaigns, and even a party-brawler mode-- and those storylines and modes are all free add-ons! EA could learn a thing or two.
Not to mention, Shovel Knight (and all its free DLC) is available on eleven platforms (no exaggeration - I Googled it).
The Treasure Trove is more expensive nowadays. Lucky you if you got it when it was just Shovel Knight.

Oh, really? Well, dang. I hope the price increase wasn't a big one. People deserve to have Treasure Trove in their lives.
@@LycanLink It's about $40 for the whole shebang now. That's a 37.5% increase in price. However, at least on the Switch, each game is about $10 each. It's a comparatively better deal to get the whole Trove in one fell swoop.

Shovel Knight should be in Smash
I bought Shovel Knight twice so far: once on Wii U and again on PS4.
Wii U and 3DS for me. If you bought it on Steam, I feel like you're missing out, whether it's fighting Kratos, racing the Battletoads, or breaking out your "meeber" for some goofy OP funtimes. I guess I think that Steam's is just barebones compared to the other ten or so platforms.
Plague of Shadows felt like a guess while Specter of Torment feels like a statement and King of Cards feels like the conclusion of everything Yacht Club has learned thus far. Really hoping they make a 16-Bit platformer in the same vein of a SNES game.
If they did a Shovel Knight movie, the cast would have to be:
