What an in incredible tool to define the buck movement in your area for FREE. I see advertisements for hemp rope and various scents, don’t waste your money!
made a mock scrape per your vids on a bench connecting a swamp to bedding/ food source not only did i have a small doe hit it within 12 hours. had about 6 different deer i never even knew were on the property hit all within 6 days. Glad theres still people like Jeff that arent out to take peoples money but to continue the hunting legacy and see people succeed thanks brother🦌

Awesome vid Buddy yesterday i put my blind in the woods tucked it in with branches and moved stands too I’m ready it a countdown now ! Can’t wait for opening day and imma put some scrape vines down too !
I purchased my own private land for the first time this spring. I’ve always hunted public land and family land in the past. I’ve been deer hunting for over 20 years and have been watching your videos for a few now, and I’m going to definitely use the vine mock scrape this year. Thanks for all the great content!
I live on only 1.4 acres. Put a hanging vine in this summer. Deer were visiting it in less then 24 hrs. That trail cam vid was so satisfying to see it actually works.
I hunted for many years not knowing this until I discovered your channel in 2020 and have been a loyal follower since then and have implemented most of your recommendations. Here in Missouri I have many vines on my property and they work like a charm. Thanks again for all you do and share.
@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 I would love to stop what I do now and work for you. I can’t wait to be in the outdoors every day. I have permission hunts in three states this year and am working on a fourth for next year and can’t get enough. I just started getting serious 5 years ago and have never looked back.
What a coincidence. I literally just cut down and installed a scrape tree with a licking branch 2 days ago. And set up my camera against some egyptian wheat like you did with the corn. Can't wait to see what kind of deer will hit it 🤗.
I have a lot of natural water on my land… water holes still attraction?? River bottom land with slivers of back water… I have vines and some of these cedars. My next phase is scrapes and possibly doing a tree relocate. Thanks for all the content. Let’s just say my wife is sick of ur voice!!! 😂
Last year in northern Minnesota I noticed the deer using a Norway pine branch as a licking branch above a scrape they opened in the food plot. So I used another v shaped Norway pine branch that I cut and hung from the groove in a branch of a tree on another food plot and the deer started using it shortly after. Pretty cool to see it work out.
@@whitetailhabitatsolutions9751 so I just got done with my plot I’m in central NC and we sprayed the field and killed all the weeds and everything then plowed about 6-8 inches deep and harrowed then threw out clover lime and 10-20-20 fertilizer how do you think it’ll turn out?
I have a mock scrape on a bench in a pinch point that , I killed my buck on 2 years ago. Thanks again for your advice. Does it make sense for me to install another mock scrape 100 yards away down in my food plot? I have to hunt each spot on a different wind so to me I'd say yes. Your opinion if , you would please.
Great morning Fellas! And Ladies. Completely off topic, but I’m looking for a quality set of binoculars. I remember watching a prior video where You, Jeff, talked about going all out for the $1200 pair that will last, or buying a $200 pair that will be replaced time and time again. What’s the difference?
@@naomicreech9870 I don't want to take any chances on hurting them. For what I need, I should be able to spend $400.00 and feel comfortable using them in the woods or in the boat.
Ok. Still not getting action at the mock scrapes. Last year at this time I was amazed at how well they were working. Should I be patient still? Or should I move them?
Great video. Wondering if you could make a video of your mistakes.. from land plans to ag practices to hunting mistakes. Im sure we could all learn from mistakes from the master.
Should we wear gloves when handling the licking branches? What would you do if you had to many natural branches hanging that they use, trim them up to force them towards the one you want?
Hi Luke...I can be honest and say I have never had any problems with a bear hitting a scrape tree or have heard so from my clients. DEFINITELY don't use a fruit tree as a scrape tree tho 😁 We have random bears coming thru at times but haven't had them damage the scrapes at all...
We have 6 black bears currently hitting our plots in Tennessee too . They knocked the scrape tree over after a week . So we will be participating in bear season this year.
Hello Jeff. I am knew to your channel and I've been enjoying all of your videos. They are very informative and to the point. Do you have any videos on how you manage bugs during early season warm days hunts? I not sure smelling like OFF is a great idea. In particular how to protect against ticks while remaining stealthy. Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.
Off topic, but will too much rain ruin your food plot seed? For example, spreading your plot seed when there’s 5-6 days in a row of rain in the forecast.
Depending on soil conditions I’ve heard to look for seed washing into low spots on dirt plots. Normally existing grasses and plant life hold them but hard dirt could be risky?
Hiya, Jeff. Got a quickly for ya, I ended up with a new property and have no scrapes or rubs on it , but the property is loaded with Super Stars! It is a bucks only area with hardly any does. Do you have any idea why there wouldn’t be any rubs and scrapes. Never seen this before.
My father in law told me to dance around our boat while naked on a moon lit night while slapping the boat with a dead chicken to get rid of any bad juju ! Might try it on your plots.
Hey Jeff do you or have you used peas radish and turnips in equal portions in a mix I just threw together a couple pounds of each and put out yesterday rain should be here tomorrow for sure

I understand the idea of cementing the tree in. Does that harm or kill the tree, or doesn't affect it and will keep growing?
Definitely kills it!
