Re: the Blackhawks drafting well: they have drafted better than it seems (and it seems good so far) because the NHL has a lot more players in the draft who are not going to play in the NHL the year following the draft. It's strange...I kinda hate it. Like our second 2023 draft pick (fastest skater in the draft -- can't remember his name) didn't play in the NHL last year and I believe he won't play in 2024 either -- but he is an amazing player who is in the Blackhawks system. They will be here eventually. The 2024 NHL draft is tomorrow (Friday the 28th) and we have the 2nd overall pick. But again, both of the players we are expected to pick (whichever one we chose) will go back to their home country to play another year before coming to Chicago. However, I think we have 6 picks in the first 3 rounds? So the draft should be exciting (albeit not the caliber of last year). With that said, in a couple years when all of our top picks are finally in Chicago, things are going to be VERY exciting. Go Bears, Go Bulls, Go Blackhawks...2 out of 3 ain't bad. The point of saying ALL THAT -- yeah I agree that the Bears and possibly the sky have the most potential in the near future.
Shout out to SKOKS for breaking down the NHL draft coverage. He has been breaking down prospects round by round and you know the Hawks have a ton of picks. I know they get better in these next few seasons.
@BLJTheGeneral so excited to finally see the players we drafted with high picks...it's a little frustrating drafting people who won't even be in Chicago for a year or two. But yeah, I think we will absolutely take a leap when these kids all finally get here. It's gonna be fun!

Bears have an excellent blend of young talent and quality vets. If both lines pan out and stay healthy it can go from playoff aspirations to championship inspirations.
Riensdorf only cares about the revenue…. When we stop giving them money they will make changes. His championships have already been checked off his bucket list so that’s no longer a priority for him
