My grandad was half aboriginal. My mother got to be a part of a link-up journey paid for, for her to go to Queensland from WA to see relatives who she’d never met, the pictures she sent back to me were beautiful, the way she was welcomed. My mum was born in England but always dreamed of Aus as her home since she was 4. She’s been visited by aboriginal spirit women during near death experiences too. I’m working on my journey now to feel connected to that side of the family. Loved the video 👍🏻👍🏿
If you are a descendant and you identify then no one can deny your heritage simple as that.. and seems like you have done just that. Be strong never give up
The small closed view of aboriginal culture 🙄

Translation,
If there's anyone in the comment section setting the record straight As brutally as we stole, I mean colonized, I mean found the land will be banned.
My grandfather was aboriginal and no one would think I'm aboriginal ... But in my bones I'm Australian, that's who I am.
This is actually a very common thing in history. As people migrated, they became mixed but their culture carried on. There was a group of ancient people called the Scythians. In their Western range they look European but the further East their remains have been found, they begin to look more mixed with East Asian. Still the same Scythian culture. And then you have the Turks. Original homeland in Western Mongolia but migrated to a bunch of places like Turkey and got mixed. There is a video of a Turkish and Siberian Yakut speaking to each other in their respective languages and they could still understand each other. But the Turkish guy looked European while the Yakut looked East Asian. They’re both still Turkic. And then you got the Latinos. They speak Spanish or Portuguese, and are Catholics, but they might not look European at all. Preserving your ancestors’ culture is more important than your physical appearance. The elders of all these indigenous cultures felt this way too.
People need to understand that us natives don’t all look the same⬛️🟥🟨⬜️🪶
FR. My great grandma was half native.
I don't think anyone thinks that

The great thing is you can identify as a cat these days and woe betide anyone who says you’re not a cat. We have a lot of DNA in common with cats and that’s a fact.
Yeah I'm a viking
Yeah I’m Turkish
Yeah I'm Basque
Viking was a profession. Not an ethnicity.
