Started and finished this gem in less than 3 days, which is amazing considering how little time I have to watch series and how hard it is for characters to hold my attention lately.
Loved everything about it. The dark vibes, the deep love the female lead had for our ml, how when he needed her she was always there for him even when he was an a** to her. The way the ml was ready to sacrifice it all for her, the CHEMISTRY, the kisses, the longing, the action and the way they were very upfront with what they felt. It gave me strong Behind your Smile vibes, which you may know is one of my fav series ever.
HIGHLY recommend it.

this series was a VIBE. Xingcheng really reminded me of Yiting from BYS. Yiting was more cold and calculative but Xingcheng was really ready to throw it all for Manning lol

This drama--,guys! Do not focus on details and just watch for the chemistry of the leads... so hard to find that kind of a chemistry in these days. Even the edits still give me thrill, thanks to the casting... --special mention to the Male Lead, sorry but the facts.... just give it a try and be patient, you will see

Exactly, the story wasn’t so bad per se but I really want to see their chemistry in a high-budget iqiyi production. I’m hopeful because c-actors are often paired multiple times w each other.

I still can't find another drama that can amazed me like this one. I fell so hard for this couple. Their chemistry is just insane. Fan Zhixin and Li Mozhi are great actors 👏👏👏

also you haven't watched BYS? GIRL, you need to. I'll tell you one good enough reason: Marcus Cheng. That should be enough ahahah but seriously it's kinda similar with this one: the male lead is set on revenge on the fl's mother so he approaches her in every way possible to try to find out the truth about something. The fl is a little slow and naive, ngl, which may annoy some but honestly I found it kinda important for the plot. Yiting(ml) is very cold, almost with no emotions, calculative, cunning and a strategist. I think you will like it. The chemistry between Marcus and Eugene is also FIRE. It's a simple plot but it became one of my fav series ever xD
You know my friend actually recommended to me but I didn't watch but I glade I did it was and amazing series first his expression was cold and the end of the series his cold expression turned into sweet and innocent face

Wow! Love your video. This drama was so good! Definitely one of my favorites now. The main leads were incredible in their roles, especially Fan Xhi Zin. Hope he gets casted in many more lead roles.

I finished this drama in 2 days it was so good!!! Plot is super interesting and both leads did such a great job it's not like typical chinese drama no unnecessary cliche moments or anything. The female lead is literally so damn pretty and so strong also don't even ask about male lead he's so freaking hot 😭 even tho ml is only 23yr old and fl is 7 years older than him their chemistry is insane. This has become my top favourite cdramas instantly. Don't think just watch it you won't regret

Back here after a year and it’s still a favorite of mine and probably the best chemistry I’ve seen in a cdrama.

This drama is on the top of my list for heat & chemistry between leads. It's so much better for not making the male lead one dimensional, instead he is more realistic for having both the characteristics you can hate, and his good and soft spots, which make him someone we can like and feel for. I think its crucial that the femaoe lead has the strength, skill & guts to stand up for what she believes in (against the male lead- physically and mentally strong). I highly recommend it, especially if you havent seen any cdramas- or if you've only seen the B-grade or "dominant/abusiveu CEO" types!
I have to say though, that for me, this music really jarred with the story flow and emotion in the scenes. Something like the love songs we hear in the other clips in this list would have suited much better, if the original sound couldn't be used. (This is a personal opinion, of course- others can freely disagree!)
