I don't think I will ever let this person back into my life. It's not worth it after all these years. 20 years is a long time. I have moved on and she should as well. I never thought my sister would ever hurt me so deeply. I have healed. It took a long time.
Exactly my experience and my thoughts with MY sister … I‘ve closed the door and I‘ll never trust her again after all she had done. I‘m now picking up myself and move on. Sad, but necessary.
I've very sorry it was your sister. It must have been very painful until you finally got over the pain.
It has only been a couple of years that I finally let myself heal. But life is a journey and I have been doing a lot of work on myself and that is what made the difference.
My position with my only sibling/sister also. Been healing for 33 years from huge abuse of all kinds, including 35 murder attempts, 19 near death experiences. A reign of terror from a pathological malignant narcissist 7 years older. No contact for years now, i am not open ever again, too many chances already given. I am her major selected target. Arrested emotional development. Enormous hatred. We follow totally different paths that will never meet again. I have never trusted her, the nicer times always concealed a dark agenda.
