I just finished putting a window motor drivers side on a 2008 Honda Element. Thanks to the young lady that showed this old guy how! My son will be happy I fixed this for him.
Completed the job in maybe 45 minutes. Really appreciate the effort and time taken to show the process from start to finish. I remember watching you on another auto parts replacement video a couple years ago. You helped me a ton on that job as well.
Thanks to TRG i saved myself $450, I was able to order a regulator online, arrived in 3 days, installed in 75 mins start to finish. For a girl like me I'd say not bad!
This video saved my bacon! Did the driver's side with no issues and now I'm on to the passenger side. Been driving around with my windows taped shut for far too long!
Successfully replaced the regulator in my 2005 Element thanks entirely to this video. Excellent instructions! Made a tedious job feel easy :) Bought the part from their link, fit perfectly!
Great video. Problem I had was I was going away and window opened but wouldn’t go back up, so I took everything apart and propped up the window. Came back and kind of forgot where all these screws went. So your video was an excellent lesson on the whole process. Thank you
I’ve had my 04 Honda element for 7 years, this has broken 3 times. This last time I decided to do it myself. Thanks to this video i was able to. Cheers!
Thank you, got it done with your help!!!! 🎉 I believe that this car i worked on was a different year, as some of the things were different. But still, this was so informative that I was able to figure it out. 🌺👍🏽
Thank you for this video! One question... the link is to an assembly "without the autodown feature" and I'm not sure what that means. I think this is the part I need to fix the front passenger window that suddenly won't come up (I have a 2004 Element) but I wanted to double check, Thanks!
Really hard to line up the driver side door frame back up. The speaker mounting sticks out and doesn’t allow you to do it straight on. You have to sort of angle it to get it in. Really difficult. At least for me. Window is going down rough because of it. But all in all the job is done. Thankful for your video!
I need help, I plugged it in to make sure that it worked before I attached the window huge mistake, the problem that I'm having is that it was working just fine and then it just quit. It worked the window went up but it won't come back down now nothing's working. The fuse is fine. I replaced it anyway and still nothing. So now I cannot attach the window to the proper part because it is all the way up so it won't allow me to line it up with the bottom of the window. It wont work regardless. I cant find any info online as to what this could be.

Apply lube on new regulator track and/or cables? My old failed one has a white grease lube on the track but the new regulator has no lube.
Is there any reason not to move the regulator down to the lower position to loosen it during removal?
so when windows is stuck in up position is it regulator need replace?
You know guys go through step by step but to fast, i wish to commend on a job well done not to fast not to slow just right, thank you!!!!
