I want to thank everyone who attended and all the kind words and generosity.
We ended up with a trunk full of food and just under $300 cash to donate to the Yarmouth Food Bank.
A special thank you to everyone who helped with hauling things across the grass and back. I had a wonderful time and hope to do more when time allows.
Thank you Scott for watching out for our guy , he means so much to us out here ,there will never be another like him
Does steve still have the tiny camper?
@@Joshandjenaregoingcamping he keeps it on the acreage, it’s probably going to be in many future videos when he gets back home
One of a kind. I still have no idea why he brought me and my wife Sue into his life but I know we will continues to do everything we can to help him.
100% agree
scott, it's gotta be the chicken hat! right up his alley of people.
Thanks to everyone who showed Steve some love today! He means a lot to all of us!!
I would love to meet you IRL
I live in SW Calgary , and would definitely come to meet you in person, I absolutely love your videos ❤😊

One of my favorite sayings is thank God for good people. Especially applies to Steve. A good person who draws good people to him. I think we’re all a little gooder because of this good man
Steve DOES mean a lot to us.
I wish so much I could have met Steve but it's a long way from Molalla Oregon..lol. I love all of Steve's videos especially stealth camping!!!😍😍😍
"What can I carry?" "How can I help?" "Brought you some Step 2." Steve's people are the best people!
I knew we had to bring some local step 2's because we knew Yarmouth wouldn't have any crafts from our part of the province
I agree! Steve attracts some of the best people.
Glad you guys got to have a great time together@@nameistaken
What are step 2's?????
@@Former_Employee Beer!
My favorite Steve moment is seeing how much he loves Beautiful Wife and how much she loved him. They were so beautiful and pure together. My heart literally broke when I heard what had happened.
Steve you are an amazing man. Stay strong brother.
Steve is a national treasure. We need to protect him at all costs. The world needs more Steve.
America loves him, too!
I don't think anyone is after him, but we all do love him.
True that! The world would be a much better place.
I disagree. Steve is a GLOBAL treasure! Canada, protect him for all of us!
@@therealbettyswollocks As a resident of planet Xjuviflarg in what you call the Andromeda Galaxy, I can reassure you that Steve is a universal treasure. If it weren't for our innate fear of buttons, Steve would have 15.6 billion subscribers.
'Things I like about Steve..."
He's the soft spoken, kind-hearted Bob Ross of Camping. The subtle comedic timing of something breaking, falling apart, catching the wind and flying away or tipping over would be impossible for Hollywood to perfect but he nails it every episode.
Well said my friend. He brings a lot of laughs with the misadventures that happen.
...the "Bob Ross of Camping".
👍
The "Bob Ross of Camping" sums it up perfectly.
I watch him to fall asleep too.
It's like me out camping with the booboos, but even better, I love his creative set ups. I started out my solo camping with an army blanket, a. Shower curtain underneath and a $20 tent from the Army Navy store, and camped in the spaces next to $100,000 RV 's during a tornado. He shares a sense of adventure lacking in many!
There is a lot of darkness in the world, and Steve is part of the light. Always happy to see the light come, whenever it comes.
Absolutely agree.
10000% agree
I just turned on the video and saw the "Steve" sign and thought to myself, Steve is taking stealth camping to a new level by advertising where he is at.
Reverse psychology, baby! Point the sign in the wrong direction and they will never find you!

It looks like you had a super time with a lot of your fans! I wish I could have been there but it would have been quite the trip from here Indianapolis and I don’t have a passport. I love your videos … always positive and upbeat! You are always having such a great time. I will dedicate my next step 2 to you my friend.
When you throw a party and the time comes for everyone to go home lol😂. Been there.

Everyone loves you, bud. You deserve it. Thanks for all you do.
Okay, Steve will have enough step 2s to get him through to spring ... he needs more!
I raise a step 2 to all who came and said hello to Steve. I know he appreciates all of you for taking time to meet him. Cheers!!🍻
So wished I could have been there! Thanks to everyone who showed up, and showed Steve some love!
I’m from the UK 🇬🇧 I’m quite jealous! 😮 nice to see the meet up. Love the feedback. I’m not sure exactly when the episode was, but one of my favourites was when Steve was “camping” with hardly anything, very minimalist, the thunderstorm/rain came in and Steve just looked into the camera and said….. “now you’re camping with Steve” 😊 I LOVED it! Thank you Steve. ❤
Hello how are you doing ??
@@AllisonBunkerhow are you doing? I hope you have a beautiful day sweetheart
Steve is such an awesome Human being 🥰🚐😎
steve you got me through the wife and i losing our son a year ago last april, i needed a distraction and you were there. i appreciate you so much, idk if youll ever see this but i wanted to tell you. thanks man, cheers! :)
God bless y'all. I'll be praying for you all
Sometimes, meeting someone like Steve with whom we have a connection is kind of awkward. We know him or part of his life, and he doesn't know us. Yet, Steve, you are such a genuinely kind personyou roll with the hugs, the hand shakes and the small talk. 😊🥰.
Steve takes us all out of our dark places, thank you Steve!
glad you all got to hang out with a bunch of good-hearted folks. Thx for sharing Steve
I have recently lost the use of my legs and watching Steve stealth camp and get around reminds me of the good times I had doing the same thing . Thanks Steve
Hello how are you doing ??
What's best about Steve's videos ... From the first one I watched it was just him telling me stuff across a fire like friends catching up. I have to remind myself that for many of them, he's alone. It's that kind of personal contact he's able to make that makes me a big fan.
Wish I could of been there! You've come so far over these years and made so many people happy. Cheers from North Carolina!!
I totally agree with you and I to am from NC...I love Steve.
I'm from Richmond Virginia been following you for 6 years or so Steve and I gave crazy neighbor a shout out after his surgery telling him a cold one fixes everything...😁😁😁🍻🍻🍻🍻🍻. Have fun during your next adventure...
another NC watcher here, that’s awesome!
From NC as well… Cheers Steve!
Camel City NC here and I would have loved to ride 20some hours to be there.
Chicken DANCE everyone! Thanks Scott for the interviews. Thanks Steve, for keeping on.
That's just the ones of us who get to you, bud... Lot of love out here for you, Steve (prayers up for you and Glen)
My husband passed from renal failure at the end of May - the last few months before he passed he went back and rewatched all of Steve's videos and happily wore his Hunker Down shirt (which is one of the only shirts we kept)
❤
Thanks Steve… couldn’t make it to the event but, I wanted to just say thank you for keeping me at peace. You’re adventurous and positive. You keep me moving forward despite going through some crazy stuff health wise. Your videos are like a documentary, a comedy, and a philosophical vlog all in one. My favourite moments are when you just chill and have a beer and have deep talks. You even take the time to listen to off the people’s names whom sent you beers. You rock. I love how you’re very caring about the environment wherever you go. Stealth camping rocks buddy. That’s my fave. Thanks. ✌🏾✌🏾
Heard he was thinking about a meetup but I didn't know when it was. Christian was so lucky to meet him so many times! I absolutely love Steve...he is a kind genuine man. Love his videos... Love everything about him. Would love to meet him but I know I would be speechless. He's a special kind of person that the world needs more of. I raise a step two to you Steve. Thank you.🍺👍♥️
I love the end... King Steve sitting in a camping chair, enjoying a step 2, while his loyal subjects address him. LOL. Long live Steve! Long live Steve!
HAHAHAH FUCKING WEIRD LMAOOOO...YOU PEOPLE ARE OBSESSED...GET A LIFE LOOL
Today I made a donation to the local food pantry in honor of Steve and his family. We all love Steve and his videos and the only thing in return he has asked of us from time to time is to make donations to support those in need. Lets all do what we can to thank him.
Hardships often prepare ordinary people for an extraordinary destiny. Looking fit Steve
Love me some surprise Steve on a Tuesday. Hope all is well with you mate
A true testament of just how special Steve is when people will drop what they're doing and drive hours to meet him. Thankyou to you Scott and your wife for being there to support Steve, the first time I saw you was when you first went to see Steve and Crazy Neighbour, it's great that you've built such a wonderful friendship❤
Steve is so genuine and humble. He shares his life with us and his ups and downs remind us that life can throw us curve balls. I enjoy his west coast adventures, his gear reviews and his meal prep. But most of all I love his Steve-isms. He has some very funny one liners!
Can we pay for Steve to come to the States for a meet and great tour?!?!
I'll chip in!!!
Yes! PA has a fan or two!!
@@bevnewton6191Or 3
I second this!!!! I'll happily donate to the cause
Bubble wrap camping shelter has gotta be the best ep! It cracks me up every time 😂
What I like about Steve is that I have always camped and hiked. My brothers and I camped without equipment. I went out on the AT. At some point I felt like I needed the right equipment to camp properly. Not consciously, but it made me put it off some. Since watching Steve the last few years I just do it. I figured it out. And I have more fun camping. Thanks for taking it back for the people Steve. Commented on crazy neighbor's post we know what's up if you do a video for a stealther outside a hospital.
Steve received a lot of love and step 2's
If I could afford to get to Canada, I would have been there!! Hugs, Steve!
What a great group of people! So happy it went so well.
Lots of wonderful people there. Steve always lift’s my spirit ❤
So much fun to hear the interviews with other Steve fans, and why they connect with him. They come across as just such nice people
I guess you have to realise that you have resonated with a large amount of people. It is lovely that you engage with those that have enjoyed your channel. Much love to you and all of us who share this journey. It does seem like you could open a bar with all the step 2's. It would be a fine party!
It was an honor to meet you Steve,I'm still on cloud 9 and love you even more now, thank u to Scott for coming to and he is a big sweetie pie
Steve needs to get his passport. Do some stealth camping in the states and then have a meetup.
This is so great! What a day to be livin’ sharing a beer with Steve everyone’s buddy!! Cheers to you Steve 🍺🍺
Fantastic!!! Lovely to see how people came out to see a genuine human being. Plus, how thousands of us wish we could have been there. Happy for y'all that you had a great time. Love to you 💜 from Austin, Texas
My favorite Steve video is his documentary . I simply love it. The music, the water, and his calmness (his voice). Just love his way of filming the documentary (the ongoing day to day continuity)!!!❤ Best scene in it is him sitting in his chair by his camper by the water with the theme music playing.
Watching this made me smile. This was GREAT to see Steve surrounded by some of his fans. He needed that. Scott thank you and your wife for being there and I hope crazy neighbor is doing better
oops i must of missed something, what happened to crazy neighbour?
@@esmeclair7895 he injured himself while riding his Harley.
Steve has taught me many things. About camping, cooking, facing your fears, persevering, travel, hard work, survival, but most of all…..love. Watching him climb the highest, toughest most challenging mountain of life after loosing beautiful wife is the most inspiring of all. I believe his own struggle to carry on has literally saved lives. How beautiful and inspiring is that, how many people can do THAT. He’s done so much for so many, I don’t think he realizes the impact his own love, strength and resilience has saved others. I pray he finds whatever peace and happiness he can along his journey and I hope that he can feel and receive all the joy and love so many have for him. He’s a teacher. And I never want to miss any of his classes.💝
The circle of people around steve looked like a big hug.
Aw Steve! How fun and wonderful!!! ❤ (I accidentally screamed when the bee flew up to camera lol)
I’m sure Steve sent that bee on purpose….it’s just so Camping With Steve…”And here we are having a meet up and OMG ITS A BEE!”
Lol same!! You are awesome jeepgirl941. I hope you have a beautiful day sweetheart
3:34 The excited little jump at the Step Twos is kind of adorable. 😂 Reminds me of my Big Hairy Son when he was little and not so hairy.
The watchers came together helping out and setting up ! !
Yes! A big thank you for everyone who helped. ❤️
We love you Steve. Wish I could have been there. Always with you in spirit >>>
This was so amazing to see!!! Best community on TH-cam hands down. You've created something really special Steve
This is so lovely to see Steve has such a big heart and he brings the best out in people and brings people together
My favorite Steve saying life I'm coming for you.
Good to know he has a great friend like you to help him with adventures
Hard to believe I have been watching Steve since the "Boondocking - Home Made Truck Canopy Camper Setup" episode and some cooking videos before that. What I like most about about him aside from the videos is how warm and genuine he always is in spite of the loss of Beautiful Wife and more recently his Mom. He just keeps on going. Fucking Legend! His sense of humor is subtle, isn't contrived and has had me laughing out loud every week. Thank you Scott to you and your wife along with the other legend Crazy Neighbor(say hey for me and that I wish him a speedy recovery)for being the glue that makes it possible for all of us to continue enjoying Steve's adventures. Favorite funny thing Steve did on this video is his happy beer dance when receiving the Newfoundland step 2's. Much love from Rock Creek Ohio.
Oh hey Rock Creek, I'm in Bristolville!
Steve, Scott, and all the others behind the scenes, thanks! In the last couple of months, I've been compiling the recipes/drinks made in the stealth camping series, and if you’d like any of what I’ve put together, I’d love to help with a “Cooking with Steve” cookbook!
You are a *HERO* to many Steve 🌟
Thank you Steve
Steve is touching so many people's hearts and it makes my heart warm! ❤️ Glad some people got to meet him 😄 My favorite Steve camping video is the donation bin one 😅 I like how Steve is a huge incentive for many people and I also love his down to earth personality!
It's like a line from A Kights Tale, "his men love him, if I knew nothing else it would be enough." That's how we all feel about Steve, even this Steve from Arkansas.
I’ve never been more jealous in my life! Great to see the Newfoundland beer. Steve, please host another event with a little more notice so some of us can travel to join! We can raise even more money for charities! Thanks to Steve and his amazing friends
I can't like this enough. We love ya Steve.
I think so many creators see the subscriber number and even though it may be huge can’t always equate that to actual real life people. Steve getting out there to meet all these fantastic people must be amazing . Actually meeting and seeing the smiles he puts on peoples faces and the real effect he has on lives. He helps so many people all around the world 👍
Scott is a great interviewer and host for this episode. It was nice to hear from the fans who got to attend!
Steve is such a celebrity and singularly responcible for kicking off the stealth camping craze in many countries. Paul from Uk.
I wish I was there at the meet and greet, but my favorite video is when Steve went camping at his usual camp ground and using 3 blankets as his tent from Goodwill. That brought back memories of my childhood and how I did the same with blankets in my living room for my kids and grandkids. That my most favorite camping Steve did . I love all his videos on camping with mistakes. The calmness and the love he has for camping. Thank you Steve. Prayers.❤
It was a pleasure to meet you Steve and Scott! And all the fellow fans at the meetup.
What a fantastic event! Thanks for giving me a reason to finally visit the Yarmouth area and sleep with the squirrels.
Aww, this is wonderful. Glad you were able to meet some fans Steve
what I love about Steve is very much the same as others. he has a positive attitude, he goes out and does crazy stuff and it is fun to watch, even fun to watch when he does stuff that is maybe a little miserable lol and also as others have said when I am going thru tough times this is my go to channel to just get away from that. I know he is going thru tough times since his wife's passing and now his mother, I really hope that somehow we as fans are helping him thru that. I hope he knows just how much people love his content and enjoy his personality.
Good for you Steve! Greets to all the fans that were able to meet you there in person!
Ashleys smile lights up the world!
This just shows how many people you touch with you're videos Steve, well done.
Definitely the Roundabout video - it’s what got me hooked! 😎🐕🇦🇺❤️
Bucket list to meet Steve
Thank you Scott for being there for Steve this is so amazing and just really restores my faith in humanity. I wish love peace and joy to both of you💗
Steve may not know the extent to which his documenting his adventures is changing people's lives, or maybe he does. As a viewer who is several layers removed from all these great people who came out to say hi, it did my heart good to see all these fine people dedicating their time to show Steve what an inspiration he has been. I'm not Canadian but I know there's got to be some kind of Folk Hero recognition that Steve is totally deserving of.
Love Steve's honesty and sweetness. God bless you Steve, you are a wonderful person.
It would be so awesome to have a camping with Steve get together.
Love to see you out with the fans Steve. Stop in Ohio on your way back west. Free camping and free step twos promised.
Seems like there are a lot of Steve fans here in the Buckeye state... It would be awesome for Steve to check out Ohio.
Also from Ohio
I love this!!! I’m from Steve’s stomping grounds in AB and I can relate to everything all these fans have said about him. In a crazy world, this is refreshing.
I wish Steve would do a 50 state road trip!
Thanks for helping Steve. Ur a real friend
What a cool thing Steve!!!!..... that would be so much fun....
Seeing all these people that are also fans is like seeing extended family! So great to see everyone and how nice everyone is! Wish I could’ve made it, but maybe you could camp out in Reno, NV sometime, tons of camping spots!
This is so cool! People love Steve! Hunker Down! Cheers!
awesome. ... i'm 41 and i would have cried for sure. hahaha. thanks steve, your great.
Fantastic seeing so many coming out to visit with you, even the bee lol. Lucky for them. How fun.
That was the most wholesome content allowable by law. Loved getting to know some of my fellow Campin' with Steve fans, and all the gifted step 2's and just... the LOVE you could feel through the video lens. Thanks for filming Scott and hope you guys make it to Idaho one of these days!
@carnage XIX....I'll second that! (So. Central Idaho here)
I like how Steve creates a causal and friendly environment. He reminds me of my childhood where I hung out with a friend outside until nightfall.
I love this so much! Thank you to everyone who brought step 2s and provided hugs. (Gotta admit, I kinda need a chicken hat.) I can’t believe no one mentioned the fire starting shenanigans…c’mon, the sparklers were hysterical.

Hey Scott, Doug here in Wisconsin. Great job interviewing Steve's fans! Great to hear stories of why they watch and some of their favorite videos. A couple of my favorites what's the time made a tent out of nothing but blankets reminded me of my childhood making forts with blankets. Also the one where they put up their own billboards to Camp behind a true classic video!😅
