Thank you. It’s all personal I prefer theR 13 I’ve also had the RC instruments and it is rather A personal God bless you and forward to your videos - Bill. UK
Yes, I like my R13s too. and I prefer the "A" R13 over the "A" RC. But in general playing I like my RC, but I'd be fine with my R13 too, truthfully my RC is much newer with much newer keywork which was my first preference. Check out my other S1 v RC v R13 as I explore this more and more ... th-cam.com/video/J1c9rTs1SOw/w-d-xo.html
You'd be surprised how much the RC Bell's Voicing Groove diffused the sound. I don't have any real microphones to record that but I've had a friend test it too and he noticed the significant difference on his R13.
@@gottalovetheknowledge4749 Do you know if Buffet's "Divine" model has that same groove in the bell, from what I've been able to hear, the Divine has the most diffuse sound in the RC family.
It all depends upon what you are looking for. In small ensembles I prefer the diffused sound. In an orchestra etc I prefer more projection. Or other various venue .. small area, large area, etc.

I prefer the "direct" sound of the R13 family over the "diffuse" sound of the RC family.

So it would mostly be a matter of trying different bells?
@@ekjellgren The shape of the bore makes a big difference as well.
