This is one of the best pieces of software I've ever paid for. Highly recommended. The radio FX alone is worth it for the immersion. You can actually hear cars racing in the background when the engineer talks to you.

I've been using DRE for over a year, and it's hands down the best spotter for iRacing.
The Free tier goes toe to toe with Crew Chief, matching CC feature for feature, and then improves it with a better, more modern interface, better voice detection, and a number of Quality of Life improvements over Crew Chief.

How accurate is the fuel calculator? Does it take into account fuel saving

Yep, as an example, if you set the average fuel mode to the Last 5 laps, and start doing fuel saving, it will take the less fuel used into account

Does this gives a Damage report on command, just like the Iracing spotter does? With Crew Chief this is not possible because for what I understood Iracing doesn't give this data to 3rd party apps, so I wondered if DRE does work with this?

Currently it doesnt no, but Im trying to get iRacing to share it with 3rd parties.
In the meantime I have some ideas on how to extract the information to use it in DRE, but I can't promise anything

Not yet. A feature: Personality has been planned, so DRE can adapt to your style, and evolve your relationship over time

you run away from anything that costs money, you think things for an online game are free to design and develop. I hope you do not play Iracing as their is a monthly price or a yearly price. Maybe stick to Mario Kart on the Wii.

There's a free plan matching the features of CC more or less. The subs are not necessary
