Great ideas! We grow luffa in our school garden and our students make bath salts with our mint and lavender. We sell them as a gift each year to help fund our garden.

I love this! Herbal gifts are the best and people generally love them, too. 🙂

Thank you, Heidi! I watched your TH-cam videos on your herbal garden, and they were very helpful and informative!

@@thebeginnersgarden Thanks, Jill! I'm loving yours too! It's really interesting watching gardeners down south, because our season is so short here. **I LOVE your kitchen! 🙂

New subscriber - I just discovered loofas for cleaning dishes and love it. Hard to find in my remote area and expensive so now I think I will try and grow it!

I agree; great video! Can you tell me the size of that container that you’ve been putting the spices in? Thank you.

I would imagine the small spice jar is probably about 2 ounces.

Had anyone tried the eczema salve? My baby granddaughter has it and is in pain a lot. Prescription lotions haven’t helped her much at all.

that dehydrator is garbage....takes 2 days to dry basil unless you crank it up to the highest setting....fruits to!!! 2 days for what??? you get a couple slices of apples and you wasted 2 days

I’ve had two dehydrators and they both take hours to dehydrate most things (how many hours depends on a lot of factors). I never increase the temperature beyond what is recommended, especially for herbs. The oils are volatile and it will compromise the quality. To me, dehydrating may take longer but it’s mostly inactive time.

@@thebeginnersgarden what hours!!!!....you talking 24-48 hours on anything..... i was so pissed.... i bought a excalibur machine and sliced up a apple which was all it could fit on the 4 trays.....waited 24 hours for a couple of tiny chips lol.... all that work for nothing.... its not like you could even do large batches and fill up a zip lock bag .....

@@thebeginnersgarden of course you have no videos dehydrating anything......maybe you can show us how you do it that its so worth the time and effort
