And she was sick when she sang that. Freaking amazing singer! I'd say Fly Like A Bird if you want a bunch of her technical skills (and humor), Akin Ka Na Lang if you want to be amazed by her power & range, and Defying Gravity if you want to see the Broadway side of her skills.
There's nothing in her singing that is not intentional. Every vocal cry, growl, runs, riffs, vowel shapes, vibratos are all intentionally placed by Morissette. However, if you compare her live renditions of the same song, she always changes it up to make it different. That's how skilled she is though she has no formal vocal training.

Welcome to the party. Mori inhabits her songs like no other. She infuses covers and originals alike with a flavor not heard anywhere else. Presently on tour in the U.S. to promote her album of originals; her covers are better than most. I would recommend "Fly Like A Bird', "Defying Gravity", and "I Want to Know What Love Is". The latter of which has 15 seconds of WHAT!?!? at the end.

As for Morrisette, other must watch Wish Bus performances are as follows: 'Akin Ka Na Lang' ( over 160 million views, her song, put the caps on ) and 'Never Enough'. Current Wish Bus performances, all from her recent EP entitled 'Signature' are 'Love You Still', 'Trophy', 'Will You Stay', 'Phoenix' and the fifth song, not performed on the Wish Bus but with her band live, is 'Mirror'. All the aforementioned songs are performed live with her band as well. Then there is the quarantine recorded cover videos from her home of 'Fly Like a Bird' ( Mariah Carey ), 'Moon River' ( from 'Breakfast at Tiffanys' ), 'Resignation' ( a very popular Korean song that she sings in English, Tagalog and, of course, in Korean ) and then she reprises a beautiful acapella version of 'Rise Up'. From there pick anything, literally. Everything she touches she transforms. Her 2017 'Asia Song Festival' in front of 10,000 + is unbelievable. She has too many to choose from. She's just the best contemporary singer out there at present and deserves world-wide recognition. Cheers!

@@creativecrewfam Re the EP songs: I'd wait a bit with those until you've listened to "the classics" Richard mentions (Akin Ka Na Lang, Never Enough etc). But when you get to the five EP songs I HIGHLY recommend the versions from 'Live from RX93.1 Monster Anniversary Concert 2021'. Trust me they're THE versions to listen to.

People forget that her voice was stressed in this performance because she was super busy performing during this time period. If she has a performance and her voice is taxxed she'll still come out and perform giving it her best shot. No lip syncing on live performances for her.
