Exploring Woodhall Spa's History at the Cancelled 1940s Weekend: A Weekend in the Caravan

Join us as we explore Woodhall spa, this is one of our favourite places to visit at this time of the year. It is usually a great celebration of the second world war era however unfortunately the festivities have been cancelled this year with no date or plans for it to return. None the less great British spirit and ingenuity came to the front and everyone pulled together to put on some great entertainment and allowed everyone to pay homage to such a significant period in History.
we camped with the East Yorkshire DA and pitched up on Woodhall spa united football ground. this a great location with great access to the surrounding area. lots of space for the children to play, and Niamh Brought her bike along for a blast around the filed.
we had a fantastic weekend again despite the unpredictable weather, so until we see you in a field next time take care and thanks for watching.

We stayed in the Jubilee Park in April 2006, it was a heat wave. great place

We enjoyed it when we stayed there, the kids are itching to try the pool so I am sure a visit is on the cards at some point 😄
