He is most talented. I am 72 years old. I have not noticed such an amazing person singing like the all time great Mohamed Rafi saheb. Mohammad Rafi is Singing farista but Sourav is following perfectly him that' all.

Tears of happiness is streaming down my cheeks when I hear you both sing these songs. My heart is full. I have overcome a missed opportunity in 1966, when I was a college student, to listen to Rafi Saab when he came to Kerala on a musical tour. Rafi Saab and Yesudas are gods of music as also P. Suseela and Lata Mangeshkar are goddesses. Great to have taken birth in these times. Thank God for it.

I am from 60s & 70s when Rafi the most sought after male singer. growing up with those songs. it would not take much effort for us to recall those lyrics. For Gaurav and Sangeeta it is their means of make an earning. they have to memorize those songs.

This show is the best I have ever heard ( and seen), and believe me listening to such songs is my most favorite past time for many years. The rendition is flawless and effortless by both Saurav and Sangeeta, making it even more praiseworthy. The musicians are equally good. Its almost like listening to the original, which to me is a huge plus. “ O duniya ke rakhwale “ is not sung like the original, yet sounds so very good. I wish both of them get their due recognition for this amazing talent in their life. I and my wife have had the pleasure of hosting Sangeeta many years ago in Pittsburgh. We treasure those memories. All I can say is THANK GOD for giving us these singers.

Saurav grew up in a household that worshipped Rafi Saheb music and no wonder he has imbibed the musical qualities that define the legendary Rafi Saheb. In addition, Saurav is a such a humble human being with no pretenses whatsoever. We are privileged to witness and experience Saurav's amazing talent. Oh Duniya ke Rakhwale rendition is simply out of this world.
Saurav is studying to become a doctor. With his outstanding memory, I bet the anatomy and drug name classes were a breeze. When he does open his own clinic, one can expect throngs of people visiting his clinic to get treated and to hear him sing. A combination curative therapy of medicine with soulful music!

Never heard of Saurav before until I came across one of his tunes so silky smooth. The whole world including myself love and appreciate the great legend Rafi but I think Saurav has surpassed the great legend Rafi in my opinion honestly, can't praising him enough. I do not speak or understand Hindi as I am from Guyana South America but grew up listening to Indian music, brilliant brilliant brilliant 👌🙏👍

The musicians have really played a big role in all the songs, the flute, mandolin, tabla & the keyboard plays are truly very good. Ms. Sangeeta Melekar has sung lots of songs in many programs for quite a few years & has made a name for herself as a reputed singer & has got a lovely voice. Glad to observe that she was appreciating the singing of Saurav & acknowledging his singing. Mutual admiration is seen while singing duets. He's such a qaulity voice, making is just close to Rafi sahab.. And he does make you feel, it all comes out as natural and he stands there so comfortable and rendering every single note with perfect expressions.. Imagine he sings songs by heart, that too when he doesn't speak Hindi. So there will be minor glitches here and there, but his style of singing overcomes that. He has definitely put a lot of effort. Hats off to him.

A big fan. I have been following Saurav for at least for 2 years now. Sangeethaji herself is an accomplished singer who sung with other male singers like Anil Bajpai. But her appreciation for this young singer is so evident in her smiles. Guess she was too happy to sing with Saurav.

The songs chosen were the best and I thank that person. The musicians were few and they have done a superb job👌👌. All of them come together to give a divine performance in Kuhu kuhu bole. I can hear this program again and again with increasing enthusiasm!!

Senior pro Sangeeta Melekar's gestures indicate that she feels blessed to sing alongside such a talent, Saurav. Both of them compliment each other well with all smiles and their chemistry is of highest class. At places accomplished Sangeeta has faultered but Saurav is all class other than pronunciation here and there. Lowest and highest pitched tones are executed with equal ease by Saurav along with the nuances of Rafi Saheb. All in all RECARNATION of Rafi Saheb. Orchestra is excellent inspite of limited in numbers, special mention of Tabla/dholak/bongo player and flute player.
The orchestra is superb as well along with great percussion. Tabla is simply phenomenal.
The unique aspects of Saurav Kishan's singing are his rich tonal quality, maintenance of Shruthi Suddham, good laya sense and singing with a lot of bhava and maintaining the pitch and tonal quality both at low and high notes without stressing the voice. These are the essential elements of a good singer and is due to his training in classical music. Saurav also renders the songs with ease almost flawlessly. Saurav really replicates the original songs and the context of the songs sung by the legend Rafi Saheb to a great extent.
This concert, I regard as one of his best due also to the great orchestra and audio. God bless and continued success
