If you alternate between pieces of meat/fish and vegetables, the pieces actually don't have to be too big. But of course, you're free to try to use the skewers however you want ;)

With the size of those skewers the pieces of meat & fish would have to be huge.

This would be wonderful if it was smokeless like a smokeless fire pit.
