Snowball should start teaching dance classes; you'd make a fortune - LOL. So funny and cute. And God bless you for loving him and your other birds. I wish only blessed things for you and your much-needed organization.l
Oh ya babby !!! A star is born😄 Snowball on TV I just saw it . Thank heaven the world has to see this bird dance! Show them how snowball . We love snowball !!! What a STAR!!!
the first time i saw his dance with the song another man bite the dust ,i feel this bird so unique and every beat of his feet follows the rhythm perfectly . No other animal like parrot ,so human and intelligent ,it's just amazing
@LovelyLenore No one taught him to dance. He just began dancing one day and has evolved into an incredible dancer. I'm glad so many enjoy watching him. Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only Rescue
Go Snowball! Sunny my DYH just turned 2 and Loves to Dance and Loves to watch you’re Videos! We hope he can develop a fraction of what you can do on the dance floor!!!
Irena!!!! That was priceless! We are so glad that the 'news' is getting out on the abilities that our beaky friends possess. Keep up the good work, both in Snowball's life, and in the rescue work of those birds that need the help to find new forever homes! Jan and her guys, Valentine,Tara, and Admiral Bird.
Thanks for posting this on TH-cam. I have so much difficulty convincing my friends, none of whom have parrots, about how intelligent my little Dolly is and how amazing all parrots are. This is a fantastic video to share with them to enlighten them! Maybe they'll stop thinking I am crazy because I love birds so much.
I love Snowball and all birds in general. They are the only other animal that walks on two legs like us, and also they're the only ones who have an affinity for music like us. Whales and dolphins also but not so similar to us as bird song and dance. What Snowball has that I've never seen before is that way of lifting his legs in sync. and not just rocking and head bobbing. GO SNOWBALL!!!!
Wow - the first Snowball video I saw, only a few minutes ago, I noticed things like him pausing his dance when Mercury paused in his singing, the fact that he has 'stock moves' but would change up to coincide with changes in the music, and that he did seem to be on beat. I was impressed but did not appreciate the full significance until seeing this follow-up story. I have a cockatiel (see avatar) and it is a marvel to me how smart he can be at times, when the cognitive part of his brain can't be much bigger than a couple of peanuts (if that).
i just had the exact same experience,. see my comment just now on Snowball dancing to another one bites the dust saying Snowball totally has rhythm then this was the very next video i watched
i love birds ,i got 2 love birds and 3 finches and 2 budgies and `1 canary, and they are adorable little pals actually i love cockatoos i wanted to get one just like Pebble i had a kind of obsession with them but after watching many many videos i realised cockatoos need expert care so i need experience with other birds first maybe in the future i might rescue one , Snowball is a wonderful bird x
@xxxxshuga6kissesxxxx Yes, he does have an official Facebook page, but You Tube does not allow us to post a URL in the comment. You can find him under Snowball the Dancing Cockatoo...he actually has two pages.
@parakeet8157 I had no idea he was going to love the "Chicken Dance" tune so much! We all laughed when we saw him dancing to that one!!! Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only Rescue
Bravo to you Irene! I am a bird, and all animal lover. I loathe abusers and ones that neglect these helpless birds and animals, especially the ones caged and have no way out. I am a member of the ASPCA and I will do whatever I can to help you. Please don't hesitate to call me to do whatever you need help with. I am retired so I have time to help. I am here. Lets incarcerate all the idiots of the world that mistreat these poor animals for the allmighty dollar! I'd like to do to them what they do.
I saw a documentary on Animal Planet where a beefy Pit bull was wearing sunglasses and he was surrounded by birds, and some were even perched on his back. Later, there were more birds, and also hens -- They were surrounding him like they were his fans. And he did nothing but smile!
I realize the odds are low of them getting along together, but I still hope for the day when there is a Frosty-Snowball meeting. That will be awesome beyond words.
I do agree like Dr.Ani said that medium sized parrots can dance. However some small parakeets (like budgies) can not dance. So far I have never seen that, but there might be some talented budgies out there. Sea lions can't dance either,I thought they could now I know they can't t they just can mimick movements from humans. I was unsure if dolphins could dance, now I am sure they can thanks to the statements of Dr.Ani. I always noticed they could follow a beat and rhythm to music.
@cainster Snowball and a female moluccan cockatoo here sometimes have dance competitions although I've been unsuccessful at capturing this on video because the moluccan always freezes up whenever I try to film her. But as animated as Angel, the moluccan, is at dancing, Snowball has impeccable rhythm and definitely has more dance moves. He recently created one or two new ones. Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only
If snowball is having a great out of his cage dancing he’ll protest if he has to go back to his cage by saying “ it’s not fair it’s just not fair”. LoL!😁 There is a TH-cam video of his saying this. He’s so smart.
it pisses me off that scientist and other people think Snowball is the only parrot that can dance and such. i've seen others here on youtube and one that literally sings. better than his human can. it's called 'singing Paco' and he's.. i dunno, a green parrot. that human really sucks at singing.
@232232ful Oh my God! I am so very sorry! I know there is nothing I can say to make you feel better...I know how sad you must be! Irena Schulz - Bird Lovers Only Rescue
my cockatoo died yesterday because my dad was just carrrying it an then hE tript over a rock and the cockatoos neck was turned to his neck i am still crying

Long live Snowball. Truly special.
I have so much love for this bird, he's absolutely incredible!
Horses also keep to a rhythm throughout the ages. Will also dance with people and keep correct timing with their movements
Toward the end notice he raises his left foot on the off beat, flexes his claws and puts it down
again repeatedly. Awesome!

Miss Irena, we would love to see that home video of Snowball dancing to Lady
Gaga. Thanks.

@232232ful So sorry for your terrible loss. I know because I lost a parakeet at the end of June. I still miss her.
