There was no way she was going to settle in Canada. With the roles the late Queen gave them, they could have carved out a meaningful role for themselves in promoting the welfare of the Commonwealth. As a Canadian, I can honestly say that if Harry and Meagan played their cards right and were genuine about wanting to live a life of service and privacy within Canada, there might have been an opportunity for Harry to become a lieutenant-governor (similar to a governor-general, but for a Canadian province). There was a lot of talk in the media of Harry possibly becoming the lieutenant-governor of British Colombia, and the couple was very popular with our Prime Minister at the time, so it was real possibility Once they almost immediately left for Hollywood, they lost much of their goodwill that they had with the Canadian public as we realised we were being used.

As a Californian I was long sheltered from understanding that he could've stood by in silent support while anyone tortured his grandparents and other family members. As a Canadian, I can honestly say that if Harry and Meagan played their cards right and were genuine about wanting to live a life of service and privacy within Canada, there might have been an opportunity for Harry to become a lieutenant-governor (similar to a governor-general, but for a Canadian province). There was a lot of talk in the media of Harry possibly becoming the lieutenant-governor of British Colombia, and the couple was very popular with our Prime Minister at the time, so it was real possibility Once they almost immediately left for Hollywood, they lost much of their goodwill that they had with the Canadian public as we realised we were being used.

In the beginning I had high hopes, and fully supported Harry's choice of his very own Mrs. Wonderful. As a Californian I was long sheltered from understanding that he could've stood by in silent support while anyone tortured his grandparents and other family members. Most Brits had their numbers before me, but I was resolved to give them benefit of doubt until I saw undeniable evidence myself. That came when she sassed Queen Elizabeth back over the internet from Canada. I was in shock for a week. Then I watched helplessly, while it went on unabated till after the Queen and Prince Philip were dead. Queen Elizabeth was an incredibly important lifetime role model for me. I could never forget any of that.
I had high hopes too until their engagement interview and seeing Henry’s face at the wedding.👌🇦🇺👋

Lady C, I saw clips of the trailer, as soon as I saw that poor little dog I could tell that he was ailing, he could hardly lift his head and had no interest in the treat, his eyes seemed to be dull. I believe she certainly knew the dog was dying and decided to use him for content, well, that's why she acquired him in the first place, so she could join the 'dog club' of actors on Suits. When I posted pictures of my cats as a memorial, there were just photos of the lovely cats, happy and healthy, I didn't put myself as the focus of the image. Meghan is a complete narcissist, this is why I can't feel sympathy for her.

So glad you revisited the timeline for Megxit. It completely debunks the Carparkles' claims of racism and poor treatment by members of BRF and Britons in general. They wanted to keep making appearances for and with the queen. They just also wanted to sell their titles to make millions on the side. They wouldn't have wanted any connection with the royal family if they had been mistreated.
