The NE governments must also improve infrastructure with the resource they have.We should find the root cause and voice for holistic change in Northeast.

Because of that they faced many difficulties in converting people in Kandhamal because before him, they could easily convert tribals just by serving them one single meal. I think you don't know much about India's history . There was such movement one such was boro movement from nagaland. Northeast had under heavy influence of terrorism. But because of continuous government effort and indulgence conditions are stable now. Of course much needed to be done but on ground level things are shifting.

I am from tripura. In my state we don't have the privilege of basic amenities.poor infrastructure, poor education facilities & poor health structure. The medical facilities are so bad that here people when they fall ill have no other option than going to south india for treatment.This is the poorest state in terms of revenue.There is no development for many years. Also everything here is costly. And here govt employees get no Dearness allowance.Even if the centre declares pay commission here employees do not get such benefits. Plus here unemployment rate is gradually increasing over the years. In tripura people are either teacher, clerk or labour. Here we have no private companies or even industries. We could have been the highest producer of rubber but the CM cabinet provided no support.The govt itself urged people to open pan shops & buy cows to earn money.To be born in tripura is a curse. We have so much talent but don't get the opportunity to show since we don't have enough money

All the states of north east is heaven . I had the opportunity to live in many of the north eastern states due to my father's transferable job . I must say that north eastern people are extremly friendly , helpful and super honest . Best place to live .... peaceful and no hipocracy .

The media is shameless because the public at large is shameless. The media simply feeds people with the narrative-driven information that the people yearn for. It's simply driven by a clear profit-motive rather than any other sinister motives. They are after all private businesses which seek to maximize profit to their shareholders, not unlike any other company
Let's be real, the only places that ever get spoken about are Gujarat, Maharashtra, UP, Delhi and very rarely Bihar and MP. Everyone else is apparently invisible.
The BJP govt after coming to power has focused on connectivity and infrastructure development in northeast.It has really expidited several project in backlog over the years and started many projects there.Having said that I agree about the under representation of North East in mainstream media.tHe same is true for bengal and the southern states.
Honestly speaking the most amount of representation is given to major cities. Importantly the big 6, Chennai, Mumbai, Dehli, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata. These are the hubs of India that run the whole country (economically speaking). Everything else pretty much gets disgraurded. It's not just the NE or south look at Madhya Pradesh and chatissgarh for example you barely ever see coverage for them.
I'm gonna upset many people but, North eastern states should do a refrendum to become an independent state then , our media might take my north eastern counterparts seriously.
People of Tripura along with 3 other north east states arunachal,Nagaland,Manipur have themselves isolated themselves from the rest of India because of the Colonial era ILP system. In the absence of free development of economy the facilities in the north east states are precarious. People hardly know anything about north east people their culture. How can then north east people hope to get similar attention like Delhi, Mumbai , Bangalore in which people from all the states live and work. If anything happens in these places it effects the entire country.
Tripura doesn’t have an ILP system brother. Irony is that even Bangladeshis find it easier to come over. Search in the TH-cam about it you will find videos.

We need to be more inclusive with North East. North East India is only associated with its Greenery, Cuisine, Tribes & China for many mainlanders. North East has more educated people than the Mainlanders think . We need more media representation to know more about them .

Even in himachal so many landslides take place and during snow many villages get isolated for months but they never show that. They only show that winter season has come and tourist are coming. And only show coverage when something happens to tourists doesn't care about people living there. There main coverages are from Up, bihar, maharashra delhi etc. They even dont show how jammu kashmir people are suffering for one year. And north east it doesn't even exist for them.

Because of that they faced many difficulties in converting people in Kandhamal because before him, they could easily convert tribals just by serving them one single meal. I lived in delhi for 2 years.. every time people asked me from where I was I said "from tripura" ... and there people were like "oh from south?" "West Bengal right?" "From where?" "Oh northeast " "it's in Bangladesh right?" "Northeasterners are refugees so where are you actually from?"
One day northeast will start asking independence, than we should all know that it's the fault of this current attitude of people towards northeast.
I think you don't know much about India's history . There was such movement one such was boro movement from nagaland. Northeast had under heavy influence of terrorism. But because of continuous government effort and indulgence conditions are stable now. Of course much needed to be done but on ground level things are shifting.

I am from tripura. In my state we don't have the privilege of basic amenities.poor infrastructure, poor
education facilities & poor health structure. The medical facilities are so bad that here people when they fall ill have no other option than going to south india for treatment.This is the poorest state in terms of revenue.There is no development for many years. Also everything here is costly. And here govt employees get no Dearness allowance.Even if the centre declares pay commission here employees do not get such benefits. Plus here unemployment rate is gradually increasing over the years. In tripura people are either teacher, clerk or labour. Here
we have no private companies or even industries. We could have been the highest producer of rubber but the CM cabinet provided no support.The govt itself urged people to open pan shops & buy cows to earn money.To be born in tripura is a curse. We have so much talent but don't get the opportunity to show since we don't have enough money

All the states of north east is heaven . I had the opportunity to live in many of the north eastern states due to my father's transferable job . I must say that north eastern people are extremly friendly , helpful and super honest . Best place to live .... peaceful and no hipocracy .

The BJP govt after coming to power has focused on connectivity and infrastructure development in northeast.It has really expidited several project in backlog over the years and started many projects there.Having said that I agree about the under representation of North East in mainstream media.tHe same is true for bengal and the southern states.
Honestly speaking the most amount of representation is given to major cities. Importantly the big 6, Chennai, Mumbai, Dehli, Bangalore, Hyderabad and Kolkata. These are the hubs of India that run the whole country (economically speaking). Everything else pretty much gets disgraurded. It's not just the NE or south look at Madhya Pradesh and chatissgarh for example you barely ever see coverage for them.

People of Tripura along with 3 other north east states arunachal,Nagaland,Manipur have themselves isolated themselves from the rest of India because of the Colonial era ILP system. In the absence of free development of economy the facilities in the north east states are precarious. People hardly know anything about north east people their culture. How can then north east people hope to get similar attention like Delhi, Mumbai , Bangalore in which people from all the states live and work. If anything happens in these places it effects the entire country.
Tripura doesn’t have an ILP system brother. Irony is that even Bangladeshis find it easier to come over. Search in the TH-cam about it you will find videos.
