This video is about Day in a life Plane Captain. It was my last day so i decided to make a video. First time editing sorry for the cringe on some parts. United States Navy HOOYAH!!!!!
Great video! Tons of responsibility in aviation maintenance. Making PC is a big deal. Keep up the work and thank you for helping keep us all safe. 💪🏼🇺🇸
I was a PC with 129 back in 1983/84 - that looks like the same line as 40 years ago. But our line shack was on the runway side (north?) of the hanger in a small little shack and worked from there. The start-up for a prowler was a bit different but a lot of the same as your bird. We used a huffer, there were four crew, and it was LOUD! Got some stories.
Just showed up to Whidbey last month. I'm currently an airman and still have a while till im PC quailed. thx for the video its defiantly something I will use to study!
I am no PC. nor in the Navy. I am more intersted in hand signals. For me as a train engineer i am more into the japanese method of shisa kanko. Point and Shout. I guess, i was able to identify signals for testing flaps, and mybe to start up an engine (right one) or was is the auxilary power unit?
Haha damn Pilots walking out + the music and their serious expressions reminded me of a damn WWE Tag Team coming out. VAQ-131 Lancers? and what are you going to be doing now since that was your last day? Great video!
looks like this is 129, up in whidbey. i was gone on the roosevelt during this. vaq-142. also notices you ibit at the front. i normally just do it on the port side and switch once im done
It's necessary sometimes, the plane can quickly move past you while you taxi thus making the final salute to the pilot in weird spot. Ideally you want the pilot and yourself directly parallel from one another during the final salute
@@milo_thebeast2158 UNSAT haircuts, facial hair, etc. Even the aircrew seemed kind of pudgy and not clean shaven. Are their call signs "Biscuits", & "Gravy"?....lol
I'd like to thank you and the aircrew for your service. Stay sharp and on point. The comraderie is something you'll always cherish.
Thank you so much for your support
