One thing I wanted to mention that we tend to generalise the south Indian cuisine quite often and often term it as south Indian whereas different southern states have got different flavours and we shouldn't just mention that it is a south-Indian dish and instead we can mention specifically if it's a Tamil/Chennai, Telugu, Malayalam/Kerala and Kannada cuisine. For instance, the food which you had during your Mumbai stay could be from different cuisine and not Kerala, so it differs a lot as per the region and we should not generalise it as just "South-Indian".
