Gerald Barillo not really very different yung The Killer Bride to GMA’s Kambal Karibal. Yung GMA it was more about a twin wanting another life with this one, yung Killer Bride it’s about a lady who got hurt by her family and the one she loved. Very different po.

As you can see in the trailer, The Killer Bride is much more deep in a sense na mas marami siyang laman, thriller, horror, fears, mystery, possession, tragic love story, revenge, family wars and etc. If there's a reference that can be use for this new teleserye maybe it's the story of Romeo and Juliet, when the Two families are enemies but Romeo and Juliet try to go against the world and to their families, like what will happened to Maja and Geoff's characters. But not totally the same with the story of Romeo & Juliet, kasi dito Maja is an innocent and kind hearted woman na pagtutulungan at idiin sa kasalanang hindi niya ginawa, to the point that they will considered her as a Killer Bride. And there's more, Janella and Joshua's characters is also has a big part with this story, kung paano nila ire-resolve yung whole mystery ng story, they will try to find the answer kung sino talaga ang pumatay? Sino ang totoong may kasalanan? Ano ang motibo niya para idiin ang character ni Maja sa kasalanang di niya ginawa? Sino? Isa ba to sa kapamilya niya o sa kaaway nilang pamilya na kung saan ang mismong mahal niya ay ididiin siya at yun ang character ni Geoff yun. There's much more contents. Mas malawak yung story ng teleserye na to. And let's stop judging hanggat hindi pa nagsisimula malay mo mas maganda pa to kesa sa ibang palabas o naging palabas diyan na horror din pero nag stay lang sa iisang area it's either love story only or siblings issues. 😌
Aesthetic creation, I agree, If it's worth anything, mas close pa to sa atmosphere ng wildflower (not only because it is maja) because of the social, personal, ethical, even spiritual issues presented. This is way deeper. The posession is not even the main highlight of this story. It's Fear. And that makes already a huge difference.
