Thanks JP. I was delighted by the Pollack and more so by the spare prop. I could feel how tired you were on the journey back in. I bet you slept without rocking that night. Your videos just keep getting better and better, again thank you.
I was pretty tired. Something like 6 dives and hundreds of meters swimming around looking for the Ocean Queen. I think I could of slept on the deck of the boat after this dive. I’m also like a child at Christmas for these Dive Guernsey Day outs, I hardly sleep the night before 😂😂 take care Patch 👍🏻👍🏻
Wow JP. You never fail to provide beautiful footage, historical facts and the joy of the dive with each video. Thanks so much for these peaceful moments of solitude as we slowly swim by your side, exploring these depths from the comfort of our own homes. Until we dive again...stay safe...be well.
Beautiful video JP .. and fabulous choice of music .. when you start to watch this, you have to keep watching! All lives were lost on this wreck including a 16/17 year old boy; if the crew had stayed put when it was out of control going round and round in circles 25 miles SW of the Hanois instead of abandoning ship, and stayed on board, then the chances were that they all - or most - would have survived. Very sad.
Thanks Tim. In the first dive on her I tell more of the circumstances for her loss. A very sad story. The boys body was never found. There is a grave at le Foulon with 6 or 7 of the 18 lost.
Great video Jp. Love to have been with you on this one. I can just remember being fascinated as a 8yr young boy seeing all the wrecks that came ashore on our west coast. The location where MV Prosperity was wrecked put her within sight of the bulk carrier Elwood Mead that had run around just two weeks earlier.
Very interesting wreckage.thanks JP.

I had a nice new parlour that day. Probably one of the bigger boats as the strop was nowhere to be seen so likely banged off.
