Omg, that jambalaya looks so good It’s been more than 30-40yrs since I lived near New Orleans. Jambalaya was one of my favorite foods. Others included stuffed red fish, po’ boys, & a plate of crawfish (aka mud bugs) from this little hole in the wall restaurant. The moment you crossed the threshold, you were family. The place was run by this sweet Creole woman. Oh how that woman could cook! She made every dish special. I’ve never tried to make jambalaya at home. This video gives me reason to give making jambalaya from home a shot. And, as for dessert, I can definitely make some beignets. I have most assuredly made those over the last four decades. 😊
Thanks Chef Ashish for bringing back cooking without gloves. I hate wearing gloves! Lol! This new generation of chefs act like you can't cook without gloves! But that's the way we've been doing it in wash our hands in between and use towels and rags just like you're supposed to! Here's to #RealCheffin!
I spent the entire first watch waiting for him to use the M&Ms and trying to think of what he could do with them that I completely missed everything he did.

20 usd is like 1500 in india, which is quite a decent amount to feed two families. Depending on how well you use it.
i would imagine the prices of food in india is a bit lower than the us after all
first see a hindu eating beef

You should consider the income of people and cost of living in the country
20usd in bangladesh is like 2000

The last dish is a heart attack waiting to happen. That's what I call- sugar+cheese+butter overload.
The south has the highest obesity rate for a reason

Colloquially it's referred to as "good"
It wouldn't be a southern feast if it wasn't. 😅
