@@hamsterbrigade you are correct . Yes had MRI. 10 days after injection started rehab 3 days a week for 12 weeks . Regained full range of motion back at the gym full body strength training . Turning 69 June 7. All that being said every “body” is different. My ortho knows me very well-no hospital so I’m willing to try all alternatives 😀
I had a large autologous stem cell harvest and injections (plural all in one session) 5 months ago, to treat severe arthritis in my feet, as well as to regenerate soft tissue (muscle) function in my back and a ligament. The harvest and injections were done concurrently with imaging. I'm a former long-distance runner who returned to my first love, ballet when I was in my late 40s. I had severe pain in my feet and almost no strength on the left side of my back due to an old severe soft tissue injury. I can now jump and dance without pain and feel the muscles in my back 'coming back online,' so to speak. (Also objectively observed and measured). It has been a miracle. ... I'm also a clinical neuroscientist and academic, so observing and experiencing the procedure first-hand was very interesting. I suggested to the physician who did the injections that they hire a research director, as I agree that this needs to be evidence-based and with practice guidelines. I would do it again!
PRP therapy deals with growth factors, which would induce growth in tissue already present. I assume stem cell therapy would possibly be the very thing proliferating and constructing the new tissue.
Thanks for the full recipe🙏 Shared with my vegan son. This recipe is from my Greek grandma. But she used to fry them first then mix them with garlic yoghurt, on top. The taste is 100 times more yummy. But now we are following #longevity so be nor careful what we eat & how we cook it😊. How many gr was it😊 ‘ Too stresfull while most of us are on the run. Thank you.😊😘💖
I found a place in Broomfield CO that uses stem cells from bone marrow. I am in severe lower back pain. I am considering this procedure but scared because … it’s my spine. Idk. All I know is I need help. Wish insurance would pay for this
If same place I went to (regenexx centeno-schultz), then no worries. I got upper neck injections and no complications, unless you consider $$ to be "complications" lol. From medical standpoint, it was very professional and no problems.
Lol I regained a ton of mobility from knees applied. No joke. From can’t to can. I’m also doing work, I excercise. I wasn’t taking an easy way out, I wanted no surgery

If there is one person out there who got healed by stem cells, why would you care about some randomized trial? Do you like living in pain while you wait for the trial? Will you take the treatment if the trial shows 51% of people benefiting? What if it’s 49% ? does it mean it doesn’t work? Such a strange question, obviously stem cells work and it’s worth a shot if other things failed, and if one can afford it.
Let’s take a new drug, bullpoop. Hundreds of people swear injection of it helped their torn rotator cuff. Dozens of people allege it caused an infection, and a few deaths. Until it is studied, no one really knows who benefits, who is harmed, and is it superior or worse than other treatments or sham treatments. And even after studies, post marketing studies often disclose more information about benefits and risks. Personally, I wouldn’t want to try bullpoop until more is known. Your risk aversion appears to be much lower than mine.
Why not go to a healer or priest if you're only looking for one person healed. So many people have been "healed" at church. Or even spontaneous cancer remission in patients. You still need a study.
Or you can just go to Philippines wherein faith healers can heal any illness by just touching you. Medicine is evidence based. If you believe in anecdotal evidence go to a faith healer
Can you tell Rogan about this so he stops going on about stem cells on every other podcast even though he doesn't know what the hell he is talking about.
Stem cell injection 18 months ago repaired deep rotator cuff tear. Within 3 months full range of motion back at the gym👍🏼
You also rested for 18 mobths. Did you have mri ever?
@@aprilhassell1747 Technically they're saying they rested for 3 months not 18. However, I'm also curious if they had an MRI to verify the tear.
@@hamsterbrigade ok. I had shoulder surgery. Mri missed a second tear .myvtears were bicep tendon and supraspineatous tendon. Boyh moderate tears.

Hey man, was it a full thickness tear?

what the difference between steam cells and PRP therapy?
PRP therapy deals with growth factors, which would induce growth in tissue already present. I assume stem cell therapy would possibly be the very thing proliferating and constructing the new tissue.
Would love to hear you discuss this with Dr. Khan
They did not work for me.

FYI this procedure is called REGENEXX. Has anyone on here heard of this or tried it for severe back pain

I have many issues with the discs in my low back. I’m scheduled for stems cell therapy in two days. Very excited and hopeful.

Thumbs up 👍 Peter
Is stemedix in st Pete Florida outside the FDA rules?
They are all outside of FDA rules. That's part of the problem.
This seemed so promising and the panacea for all health issues a decade ago...What Happened?

The peptides TB-500 and BPC-157 are THE BEST in injury repair.

there is too much BS and Hype around this...as Peter said it's all marketing material and no data...Modern day snake oil at this point!!!

Those aren't good odds, no. Would you walking to a room if there was a 49% chance that there was a tiger in there?

Tony Robbins approves stem cells, so I assume it's good.
PRP is the only king
Theres no blood supply for torn cartilage

typo in the title
Really?
It could be pointed out your capitalization and lack of punctuation could also be critiqued.
