Mahindra should sell the Roxor in a knock-down kit form. When registering a "kit" car, you get it titled to what it most closely resembles...in this case a CJ2a...no seat belts or emissions equipment required. Circumvent the FCA crapfest and the EPA nannies.
I saw one in person today. Very interesting. Looks like it would just in alot of places real fast. But very interesting. Says made in USA all over the place.
mahindra got bought a licence to produce jeep vehicles from willeys in the forties. long before Chrysler of fiat had anything to do with it. to be honest mahindra has a better platform to sue fiat then fiat has to sue mahindra.
william Dana they wouldn't sue each other, mahindra has no rights to the jeep name or franchise, it only had a license to make the car. It has no legal bounds to sue fiat, who bought the actual company, and now produces new vehicles under the jeep name. Mahindra just makes vehicles that look similar, but are they're own car. If you want to get really technical about it, Fiat could have a legal base to sue Mahindra, as they are producing cars that look suspiciously similar to the old cars they built under an expired license.
Mahindra, "NEVER" owned Jeep it was licensed to them! FCA owns Jeep plain & simple to all who think FCA doesn't own Jeep you got some serious denial issues?
@@billypate2479 you need to understand the Side×Side design is originalyy of Willy's whose design rights were bought by Mahindra in 1947. They've all the rights on this design. Mahindra has it's rights long before FCA or even Jeep itself. That's why Mahindra doesn't use the Jeep anymore but still has the Design rights. FYI, FCA lost the legal battle to Mahindra against of producing these.
Wait, I thought I heard these Roxors are being produced in Michigan and not in India, even though the company is Indian. Did I hear it wrong? This thing is definitely worth buying for offroad bashing without much care.
Now: EGR delete and an intercooler! EGR is poison for a diesel engine. And an intercooler adds free power. Lose the belt driven fan and add a couple of electric ones. I'd like to see an air-to-water intercooler from Spearco, like VW uses on the latest TDIs. Nice and neat and compact. Needs a heater too. (And A/C. And......shit, just spend $40K and get a Rubicon. But what fun is that?)
Mickey Bitsko electric fans do not move enough air to cool a diesel under load and the power gain is marginal when you consider the alternator would be loaded constantly to keep the battery charged to run those electric fans
I've seen them, but I haven't had the opportunity to talk to someone who has one to see how they perform. I know the Kubota and OM617 perform really well on the low end, both from the design intent of the motor and knowing people who have owned them. I don't want to steer someone into an engine swap if I don't know the end result may not be what they're looking for.
Just to make sure I heard you right ... you made it street legal ? Or did I hear that wrong. If you did ... 20k street legal diesel Jeep... I’m on board!
Street legal kit where you can drive them on the HWY in the states allowed. For example in AZ, you can drive them on the street here as they get registered like motorcycles, but you will want turn signals and horns like this www.vividracing.com/xtc-motorsports-plug-play-turn-signal-system-mahinda-roxor-p-152423927.html
They are sketchy at best being legal. Only in some States with work around the laws registrations, some with restrictions. It would be a great street "legal" vehicle to pull behind an RV though.
The Roxor is made in Michigan, not India. Many of the parts are made in India however. While it’s based on the Thar, there are significant differences. Jeep trademarked it’s Jeep grill. As far as I know, the CJ body shape is neither patented, trademarked or copyrighted. I suspect FCA will not be able to successfully show it is being done harm by this vehicle. I think Mahindra will have a tougher time with the US government due to emissions compliance and safety standards due to the intent of many potential owners intending to operate them on public roads. Which by the way is a major point of this dyno test and tune. Mahindra specifically did not give this vehicle a VIN number nor turn signals to keep it in the side by side off-road category. I saw that this tune left a whole lot more performance on the table. They got the quarter mile into the 18’s and traps in the mid 70 mph range. That is as good or better than a stock CJ of just 45 years ago.
NO ONE...NOT ONE PERSON.....would buy a new Wrangler for off road UTV type use. They cost too damn much for that. The idea that Jeep is being harmed by this vehicle is preposterous.
Rob Evans Actually a lot of people go off-roading in $30k+ brand new Jeeps. I see them on trails quite a bit. A lot of people prefer new wranglers for hunting use too.
That's not what I said (or at least meant.) If someone is looking for a side by side UTV, they are looking in a certain price range. NO NEW JEEP falls into that category. This vehicle offers Jeep ability with a low price tag to the UTV market. Let Jeep build a CJ2 reissue for $15k and they would be in the running too.
@@GratefulRob Roxor's are $20k+, only about $4k less than a stripped down base model 2 door Wrangler. And the Jeep Renegade is about the same price. The trailhawk version is very capable and is street legal. People who buy these toys don't really care about a few thousand dollars. And yes it will steal some Jeep sales from FCA. FCA is suing Mahindra because they don't want them to get a toe hold in the market with their Jeep clone. If the Roxor does well enough Mahindra might build a street legal version in the future that would more directly compete.
Base Wrangler Sport STARTS at $28,200 and the ROXOR Starts justvunder $15,500. Again....totally different markets. Polaris has way more to worry about than FCA.
this is exactly what people have been asking for and theres nothing wrong with a mahindra these things are reliable at a great price too rather get one of these than a side by side for sure
With a 2.5l engine this thing could easilly double the torque and hp with more boost. 25psi would make this thing accelerate pretty quick considering it's weight. My 13 passat TDI only had a 2.0 and it was surprisingly quick for what it was. I could only imagine this with due to being lighter and having a bigger engine. I could see a nice rock crawler built out of this with more boost and the emissions crap removed!
All the Roxor fans here ... If you ever get a chance to visit India.. then definitely go for a drive in the Mahindra Thar .. it's the bigger sibling of the Roxor with road legal accessories ... If you are a hardcore jeep CJ or Roxor fan.. you'll definitely love it
i remember when they were imported into UK many moons ago with the WW2 willys stylie body, the build quality would make you think a two year old had nailed it together, it had a Peugeot diesel engine then.
Perfect!! Now only if it was street legal!!! High speed limit is awesome. But more important. Fuel mileage, long lasting. Dependable for years to come! Government should de-legislate the auto industry to be able to bring these back!
It really has long life because I have seen those of more than 30 years old and still ferry 15-16 people villages around India. I don’t know about mileage.
What is the final drive ratio? Most of the mahindras come with 3.73 , 4.27, 4.88, 5.38, 5.89. The new models all come with 3.73:1 which is nice for open flat roads only. A change to a lower ratio helps. Offroad too the vehicle surges on 4w low with the tall gearing on descents
Deborah i have a mahindra with same 2.5 litre engine. That engine is capable of 120 bhp. My Mahindra MPV is sold with the same engine tuned at 120 bhp. So you can easily reprogram the ecu for engine to deliver more bhp and torque. These are called mules in india.. Mahindras are the go to vehicles when we talk himalayas.. driving at altitudes of over 18000 feet... they just dont stop and keep going.
Epeater 86 these are not "built" in Michigan. they are "built" in india. then they are stripped down just enough to be called "truck parts". to beat the import tariff. Toyota did the same thing in the 70,s. i lived close to where they unloaded the ships in Long Beach CA. some ships would have nothing but truck beds on them, and others would have a cab only. they would then put the two together and they would have a "truck". it was all legal but not really a cool thing to do.
JeepJeep234 when Toyota was doing that in Long Beach. they removed a Mountain of dirt. i am not talking a big pile of dirt. it was a for real Mountain. not really sure where they hauled it off to , but they made a mole hill out of a Mountain.
This thing could really make some serious power being a large 2.5l. My stocl VW was making 140hp and 230hp at the flywheel. I can imagine the power this 2.5 would make with 20-25psi of boost
The mahindra 2.5ltr turbo will easily give you 105bhp and 247 nm of torque as it does on its bigger brother the mahindra thar. The thar also has an eaton mechanical auto diff lock on the rear axle. The thar is a far better car than the old willys or was it bantam motors ?
I think the 105bhp version is not this particular engine as used in the roxor. That must be the old Mahindra scorpio or Mahindra that engine also known as the NEF series engine. What the roxor has is I think the that di engine which was evolved from old international tractor engine and still used in commercial applications in mahindras lineup. The power ratings you have achieved are the same as the stock thar di and similar speeds achieved in India. The engine though is a real workhorse and lugs around 3000kgs in most commercial pickups here. Right kgs not pounds. No mistake there
There are two engine variants in India. One gets exact same DI engine in roxor and generate exact same power and torque, but without speed limiting. Other gets a CRDe engine with above mentioned 105bhp and 240 NM torque. Most probably Thar DI's ECU alone won't increase the power.

You can probably get away with driving this just around town on most streets in America, I wouldn't take it on any road trips but I would definitely drive it to the store.
This thing is that basic truck/Jeep we wish someone would make but can't because of all the regulations. with very littles bells and whistles and no stiupid computers and electronics on it, no excessive plastic and all steel. It being a Uitility vehicle is a work around to get it street legal. You got to hand it to mahindra for have the balls to do this. For someone who hates new over priced, over engineered infotainment garbage trucks these days, this is an answer to our truck prayers.
does re flashing the ECU affect long term reliability? I m guessing yes because of the higher rpm's and everything moving quicker hence wearing down faster. Any plans for a locker kit so you don't do 1 wheel burnouts? :)
No these are durable tractor diesel engines. No issues. At this power, its plenty safe. Higher than this we might see clutch issues. There are lockers available. Email utv@vividracing.com.
I would like to see if you can add a 540 rpm power takeoff, hydraulic pump with remotes, a tow bar, and a category 1 or 2 three point hitch. This should make an awesome small tractor for mowing, disking food plots and feeding livestock. Add some 7.50-16 deep lug tires and it's the bomb!
Nice power gains! What RPM is it running in fifth gear at 55 mph? Next lift it by doing doing a spring over axle setup. Then if the gearing can be changed go up on the tire size.
This diesel 2.5 seem's alot like an international tractor or industrial motor with a turbo?.If that's the case it's a good one and will last a while. That electric fuel foot deal could be swapped out and a linkage installed .
if it has fly by wire ,pedal couldn't you add a Sprint Booster V3 or Pedal Commander to get the full potential of the 4 cylinder Diesel , i have the sprint booster on my 2018 4 gas engine2.7Ltr. in a Tacoma and man 168HP with 190Trq. it is quick no delay and if it keeps up with more faster v6's it should help the Roxor, i am looking to purchase a Roxor.
Greg Berger it’s in the description of the video but here it is again www.vividracing.com/tuned-ecu-flash-tune-mahindra-roxor-25l-turbo-diesel-p-152414222.html
I like it. Smart, useful upgrade, but not to the extent that it’s going to turn the Roxor into a hand grenade. 70-odd mph sounds a little scary, given the pedestrian nature of the rest of the vehicle. This is not a performance side-by-side. Also, I suspect that further development would have the usual cascade effect, where the cost escalates as you end up replacing smoked clutches, melted wastegates, broken axles, inadequate brakes, etc.
Steve Rolfe we plan on offering a clutch upgrade soon. I think driving this at 45-70mph is the same as driving a CJ. But I agree treating this like a full blown car is not the best idea. Much like a RZR, can take it out to the trails and have fun.
Say you buy a Jeep like most people, an fix it up, lift kit, tires an wheels, lights, locking rear an front lockers, an other stuff you'll end up with, maybe $10,000 or more in upgrades, bring the cost of a $27,000 Jeep to close to $37,000 or more, seen a lot of new Jeeps on dealer lots up to $50,000 or more for a Rubicon. You could put that $10,000 dollars on a Roxar, an have a off-road machine as good or better for less money than a "real" Jeep an have that retro look of a CJ.
Richard A Chapman they were so slow that you could time them with a calendar. but once they got there they were a climbing son of a gun. my Dad had a 1943 Willy,s totally original
75? no..maybe 65 on a good day. 4000rpm redline and 5.38 gears on stock 6x16s, gets you 65mph. They WOULD do 75 if you opted to install a Warn or Saturn overdrive on the transfer case. But really, 81" wheelbase and 9" drum brakes, 50-55 is all they were really designed to do comfortably.
as a indian i want to tell u people who are asking about reliability. mahindra is here popular for powerful and rugged suv and they provide it on low prices here. their engine can clock near about 4lakh kms. all state's police use mahindra bolero as cheap nd reliable . we also have jeep here name compass but its not that reliable even they charge more..
I have a question about RPM -- what is Red Line for the Roxor? I got the ECU tuned by Diesel Freak and it goes faster for sure I've had it to 67mph however that was at about 2890 RPM .. Where is Redline? I've been told it's 3200 ish? Do you happen to know?
A 2005 wrangler 4.0 inline 6 will barely do 80mph on the highway, because of the horrible aerodynamics. I doubt the roxor will hit 78mph with wind resistance.
Agreed but will still do more than 45 mph. I would want the ability on the right road surface to go more than 45 but I wouldn't go too fast as it could become unstable at speed. That old school leaf sprung suspension is not very forgiving
You maybe able to import and tune the CRDE engine from the thar (105HP/240nm) or the mHAWK engine from the scorpio (120-140hp/280-320nm) from scraped vehicles. But this m2dicr is a work horse and can take serious punishment.
In order for this to be street legal in the US it would have to meet current EPA & DOT specs. which the cost would be prohibited. They are strictly for off road use. Long gone are the days when turn signals, back up lights & seat belts would conform to 1968 DOT regs.
I'm curious about the axles; it's been said that they're Dana 44 based, but what does that mean? Are they little Dana 44's? Will they take D44 lockers? It'd be cool if they could... 🙂

Mahindra should sell the Roxor in a knock-down kit form. When registering a "kit" car, you get it titled to what it most closely resembles...in this case a CJ2a...no seat belts or emissions equipment required. Circumvent the FCA crapfest and the EPA nannies.
That would be too easy... Lol
Jeep in a crate. Just like WW2!
I saw one in person today. Very interesting. Looks like it would just in alot of places real fast.
But very interesting.
Says made in USA all over the place.
Every jeep I have ever had has rusted real fast, CJ2b, CJ3, Wagoneer's, J10, J20, M715, CJ7. Id pin my hopes on this one b4 a new fiat one for sure.
the Mahindra Roxor sounds like a car from GTA
Mountain Man Fishing lol super funny
mahindra got bought a licence to produce jeep vehicles from willeys in the forties. long before Chrysler of fiat had anything to do with it. to be honest mahindra has a better platform to sue fiat then fiat has to sue mahindra.
william Dana they wouldn't sue each other, mahindra has no rights to the jeep name or franchise, it only had a license to make the car.
Roxor is modern stable jeep
@@billypate2479 @ Mahindra Made these jeeps in India before jeep company exist.
This needs a PTO - like the old farm jeeps...with this tune and the PTO it'd be GREAT to have on the farm.
Perfect for the tight trails and easier to fix!
Wait, I thought I heard these Roxors are being produced in Michigan and not in India, even though the company is Indian. Did I hear it wrong?
This thing is definitely worth buying for offroad bashing without much care.
Ghost Town Sentinel Mahindra is an Indian company but the roxor is assembled in Michigan
Imported and Assembled only..not made in ... it's made in India.
@@suryar7026 Ya... Mahindra's part Made in India (strong, durable)
The wires coming threw the fire wall on pass side look close to the piping. Definitely a neat product.
Drop a Kubota into a CJ2a or a OM617 turbo into a CJ3B. It's cheaper than the Roxor and legal to drive anywhere.
Intercooler adds free lag too
MrLes Berg check out some of the CJ VW TDI conversions.
Subbed just for watching you build the Mahindra!
It's more of a jeep than the new jeeps!
Just to make sure I heard you right ... you made it street legal ? Or did I hear that wrong. If you did ... 20k street legal diesel Jeep... I’m on board!
says who?
Vivid Racing I thought you said that in the video that you had a street legal kit . I guess I heard wrong ... watching again
You did say xtc street legal kit! You said this in video
Rob Evans
Actually a lot of people go off-roading in $30k+ brand new Jeeps.
You don't want to go fadt in these lol
@@sciencemilitia1853 definitely not 😆
All the Roxor fans here ... If you ever get a chance to visit India.. then definitely go for a drive in the Mahindra Thar .. it's the bigger sibling of the Roxor with road legal accessories ... If you are a hardcore jeep CJ or Roxor fan.. you'll definitely love it
It’s amazing what you can do with just a tune
i remember when they were imported into UK many moons ago with the WW2 willys stylie body, the build quality would make you think a two year old had nailed it together, it had a Peugeot diesel engine then.
Seeing this one first hand they are built well. Definitely not like you said.
I subscribed because I want to see how much horsepower you can crank out of it with supporting mods
I wanna see this thing cranked up to like 100+ whp! Nice bump in power here I’d like to drive one like this.
Now it can out run that pesky T-Rex. Very interesting video, thanks
Thank you!
Let's add a Chevy 572 engine in her chassis and watch her rock and roll!
Actually this very 2.5 mil can be tuned to produce over 165bhp and 370NM. It's just not street legal hence factory fitted one has been detuned
Roxor is a off road vehicle for work/play. It has a tractor engine. Modify it for more speed and you have a death trap.
And yet, if it were the 1980s, this would have been deemed street legal in a heartbeat.
I love the simplicity, with a little more power, 75hp or so, it would be phenomenal
Mahindra that 2020 is next generation mahindra thar or roxor in US.. It has more power and more electronics
It's made in Michigan not India
Epeater86 assembled in Michigan.
Epeater 86 these are not "built" in Michigan. they are "built" in india. then they are stripped down just enough to be called "truck parts". to beat the import tariff. Toyota did the same thing in the 70,s. i lived close to where they unloaded the ships in Long Beach CA. some ships would have nothing but truck beds on them, and others would have a cab only. they would then put the two together and they would have a "truck". it was all legal but not really a cool thing to do.
lilorbie lilorbie Toyota still does that, but now it's in Texas.
JeepJeep234 when Toyota was doing that in Long Beach. they removed a Mountain of dirt. i am not talking a big pile of dirt. it was a for real Mountain. not really sure where they hauled it off to , but they made a mole hill out of a Mountain.
lilorbie lilorbie, some beds were built in California & some were imported from Japan.
This thing could really make some serious power being a large 2.5l. My stocl VW was making 140hp and 230hp at the flywheel. I can imagine the power this 2.5 would make with 20-25psi of boost
20-25 psi is definitely enough to make her scoot!
That's one of the vehicles with lot's of potential 😎👌👍
The mahindra 2.5ltr turbo will easily give you 105bhp and 247 nm of torque as it does on its bigger brother the mahindra thar. The thar also has an eaton mechanical auto diff lock on the rear axle. The thar is a far better car than the old willys or was it bantam motors ?
It's sold in India with 105bhp and 240 odd NM of torque. Try getting that ECU
If someone is in India, I will buy the ECU and you ship it here :) Email me dan at vividracing dot com
Vivid Racing hope you get it
I think the 105bhp version is not this particular engine as used in the roxor.

Arizona we can drive UTVs on the street as they are registered as motorcycles.
And if you live in a rural area where off road vehicles are very common. A large portion of local police don't care.
True!
Most reliable in any weather
Reliability in any weather is always a great thing to have! 😎 Thanks for watching Surendra!
How were the egt’s after the tune since no boost was added?
Very interesting I have a NA diesel tractor from mahindra do you do ecu flashes for them also?
Yes can help you. email tuning at vividracing dot com
Would love to have one of these. The power seems very underwhelming for a 2.5l turbo. Can't wait more power mods then I might buy one.
Impressive improvement. Costs?
I would like to see if you can add a 540 rpm power takeoff, hydraulic pump with remotes, a tow bar, and a category 1 or 2 three point hitch. This should make an awesome small tractor for mowing, disking food plots and feeding livestock. Add some 7.50-16 deep lug tires and it's the bomb!
Nice power gains! What RPM is it running in fifth gear at 55 mph? Next lift it by doing doing a spring over axle setup. Then if the gearing can be changed go up on the tire size.
"DANG!" "THAT'S ONE SECOND SLOWER THAN A 2013 DODGE DART IN A QUATER MILE!"
@Dirk Pitt I'm just happy there's a vehicle slower than my car. I don't feel so much like a looser.
Irrelevant to this particular video, but I would definitely strip it and bedline the entire frame and exterior, as well as the interior.
for looks or function?
Doing that is going to trap water and cause rust.
otm646
I have a lined floor and it hasn't caused rust in 15 years. If you don't prep it right liner can crap out with rust just like paint though.
On a frame it will get torn off on rocks, then moisture will get in through those scratches and work it's way underneath and rust out the frame
This diesel 2.5 seem's alot like an international tractor or industrial motor with a turbo?.If that's the case it's a good one and will last a while. That electric fuel foot deal could be swapped out and a linkage installed .
THE POWER GOD'S SMILE and give approval!
Is the exhaust manifold like a regular Jeeps manifold where they had the little baffles inside you can knock out and get more power out of it
Fun fact tractors lying around in pubg mobile version had Mahindra logo on them.
Is there a gas eng option? We got dw to -45F a few times this winter. We had several wks of -25F to -43F. Gas can be more dependable here in Alaska.
if it has fly by wire ,pedal couldn't you add a Sprint Booster V3 or Pedal Commander to get the full potential of the 4 cylinder Diesel , i have the sprint booster on my 2018 4 gas engine2.7Ltr. in a Tacoma and man 168HP with 190Trq. it is quick no delay and if it keeps up with more faster v6's it should help the Roxor, i am looking to purchase a Roxor.
So it's all the stuff actual Jeep people want. This is so much more Jeep than what FCA makes now. I bet this really pisses them off.
Good riddance! I would never buy anything from those Fiat crooks!
What would you charge if I sent my ECU to you guys for this reflash? Please advise.
Greg Berger it’s in the description of the video but here it is again www.vividracing.com/tuned-ecu-flash-tune-mahindra-roxor-25l-turbo-diesel-p-152414222.html
How about looking into increasing the boost pressure, increasing the fuel and an EGR delete?
Love mahindra love roxor
I want one. Great guy doing the vid! Excellent!
I think if you start getting into the turbo modification is where you will need to start treating this like a real car.
*Warning! Poor audio leveling ahead, proceed with caution.*
Will ecu flashing reduce mileage?
Is it drivable at the higher speeds. My cj2 wasn’t terrible at 45 but 75?????
Very cool video thank you for posting and great work unleashing the true power of the Roxor I will be getting this upgrade very soon thanks agian
Thank you!
Any idea on what it would take to get one street legal and what tags would it use?
What is revised speed limit in reverse?
I want one! This tune would have to happen though.
In the early 60’s a stock 4 cly Jeep would run 75mph/120kph on 16” wheels. Took a few minutes.
Great info!
Vivid Racing anytym bro.. anything u want to knw
Armaan girdhar dude they don't understand the Indian number system. 4 lakhs is equivalent to 400k.
vineeth v kk bro
Love to see mahindra in us, keep rocking and give some more cars to US.
In india it's called thar. A proper covered jeep with big chassis.
We have no idea how reliable this is going to be and you tune it. Well now you know how much power she will put out.
fatboy19831 People have been beating the shit out of these in India for decades.
painmagnet1,
You can say the same for Peugeots in Africa over there they were excellent cars. In the states they were garbage.
So is that a gain of 20 hp per rear tire? just sayin
Can import Mahindra M2Dicr ECU of Mahindra Bolero or Mahindra Thar DI......
Music to my ears i.e. tune and diesel engine sound
🙌🏼🙌🏼 glad you loved it just as much as us
Waiting for your new video ( Mahindra jeep ) ..simple and powerful stuff.
Pull the EGR and cat then tune again! Off road only= zero tail pipe emissions
To be honest do not know. We do not mess with these anymore.
A 2005 wrangler 4.0 inline 6 will barely do 80mph on the highway, because of the horrible aerodynamics. I doubt the roxor will hit 78mph with wind resistance.
Agreed
The Indian version of this same vehicle with the same engine hits around 75 mph (in a long time) but gets really hairy!
Agreed but will still do more than 45 mph. I would want the ability on the right road surface to go more than 45 but I wouldn't go too fast as it could become unstable at speed. That old school leaf sprung suspension is not very forgiving
You must've had a p.o.s. my 05 Rubicon would run 95-100 all day. My 87 xj would run 90mph and it had 300k mi on it with no rebuild.
Maybe at speeds over 45 bits and pieces start to fall off. That wouldn't surprise me one bit.
Built in Auburn Hills, Michigan
You maybe able to import and tune the CRDE engine from the thar (105HP/240nm) or the mHAWK engine from the scorpio (120-140hp/280-320nm) from scraped vehicles. But this m2dicr is a work horse and can take serious punishment.
I wonder if a Cj grill would bolt right on.
Mahindra💪I just love it
Mahindra is "Toyota" of India
Any of you know if it could b street legal in Canada ???
How much does that cost to do
Can they be made street legal?
In order for this to be street legal in the US it would have to meet current EPA & DOT specs. which the cost would be prohibited. They are strictly for off road use. Long gone are the days when turn signals, back up lights & seat belts would conform to 1968 DOT regs.
Useful in Himalayan hilly terrains
How about changing the waste gate for more boost?
We get more boost another way, see our other videos.
Now it just needs an emissions delete and a proper turbo running about 30 PSI in this thing will be crazy!
Is the drive train able to reliably take the extra torque? How’s the parts availability, maybe an upgraded pressure plate
Azdrtdog yes it can handle it but we can always upgrade the clutch easily
The clutch n pressure plate are quite strong
Is there any way to make this street legal?
I'm curious about the axles; it's been said that they're Dana 44 based, but what does that mean? Are they little Dana 44's? Will they take D44 lockers? It'd be cool if they could... 🙂
You will be able to install lockers. Most enthusiast in India do install them.
I just went and checked these out!!! Awesome
How hard is it to do an ECU flash? I'm guessing their has to be an autobody shop involved?
Awesome job BTW.
No not at all. You just remove the ECU and send to us. The ECU is located in the front of the engine on the drivers side.
I subscribed! I'll keep you guys in mind when I get one!
