Hey Ed, I used baking soda in my harbor freight blaster, I got the idea from Pacific Mike. It works pretty darn good and doesn't damage the aluminum, washes away easily too. As long as the paint aint too thick, works well🤘🤘🤘
Oh yeah, also you can get a kiddie pool to blast in. Then scoop it up and screen it and run it back through. My engine was all black from the factory, I used aircraft stripper, washed it and blasted it with the soda. As you can see it came out pretty good, not alot of polishing either. Peace out Ed 🤘
Like the taller apes Bid Ed Belt drives rule easy to set up and way less maintenance Have run 2 inch 31/2 and never had an issue especially with that 113 power Cool collection of bikes brother ✊🏾✌🏾
She’s running strong man weather just getting nice so can put some miles on the old girl Got a couple other projects like you going on too Have a good week Big Ed peace out ✌🏾
I am by no means, a master mechanic, and never claimed to be one. I just love Harleys and I like learning how to wrench on them. If I have a helpful tip, I try to pass it on to other people.
Cool The cam a Mild or High lift ? I was going to buy a sand blaster build a table to catch the sand or meda . i had to build one in a shop i run in the 1980s could stick a truck bumper in or motorcycle in the blaster , we was running car parts .
Not sure, I guess 600 is pretty high lift. I called S&S Cycle with block and crank numbers and they said the S&S 600 would be the best cam for my application. As far as the sand blaster goes, I just need one for small jobs here and there.
