I liked these movies. Tbh I think that Rambo kinda got over his past a little bit when he was in prison and he let out his frustration. He didn't recover but then understood that he was a soldier and so he kept those memories in and used them to get the job done.

Careful, this movie spoils the plot of the hit NES game Rambo.

The fact that Rambo is in prison because of the events of the first movie either deputy Mitch played by David Caruso decided to remain loyal to his fellow officers and not report their mistreated of Rambo or the courts decided abuse didn't justify escaping police custody and trying to kill them
