- In the evening and at night, The Termitary House looks like a giant lantern with lights here and there from the holes. The surrounding brick walls are decorated with some rough bricks to make shadows. This improve the beauty and charm of every single brick regarding its own shape and color. The Termitary House was built in extreme climate’s of Da Nang, city of Viet Nam. Besides, It’s design comes from the remains of Champa baked-brick Towers . Da Nang’s brick lantern.

Interesting house. Pity that the top floor wasn't shown. Dreadful flat narration & background 'music' detracts from the video.
You can check the images of the upper floor on archdaily
Uma grata experiência.
Супер!
lindo! mas oq deve entrar de todo tipo de inseto no verão e o frio absurdo no inverno, não deve ser brincadeira.
@@caioangelotti I believe that double skin facade can prevent insect infestation , also Vietnam's climate is never gets really cold , its around 15 degrees in the worst month so I do not think they can freeze in winter.

Need to coat all the house, cause that brick absorb water
Thats true but when you draw its detail you are giving air space between 2 brick layer so you never feel the moisture in the house also eventhough brick can soak the water they never pass it to the other side
Plus, the water evaporates and will cool the House naturally
Narration is terrible.
I thought it was a sample for the hip hop..
But a steel door get super hot under the sun, and that door has no shade. A wood door won’t get near as hot as a steel door. If that house is in the tropical hot zone, I doubt they would enjoy touching a hot steel door in the middle of the day.
@@Lppt87 I think we can make the door handle out of another material and be done with it. 😄
@@AtelierBea it would transfer the heat inside the house.
A wood one wouldn’t transfer heat since wood is a bad heat transfer material.
@@Lppt87 yeah you are right but that doors are not single sheet. there is wood and insolation materials inside of the layers so I donot think heat transfer would be a real problem
Very interesting video, I love unusual architecture. You could check the audio, I found the volume extremely low.
thank you for feedback :p
the amount of bugs that should go inside this house...
While i love that brickwork, i hate the idea of burglars being able to climb right up my house 😂
Music too loud! Can’t hear the narration !
I guess I fixed it on my last video check it out! th-cam.com/video/wYwrXJmCiEA/w-d-xo.html
A very distinctive architectural style that is well articulated and functional with in it's environment.
Beautiful structure. Curious about the interior when it endures rain, particularly on windy days. I was waiting to see if there was some type of sliding panels.
There is second facade inside of the house , you can check it from the links that on the description
@@AtelierBea Thank you:)
Very beautiful, such a thoughtful design. Thank you for sharing!
that's all very-well, BUT...nobody really must live there, yes? I'd like to see a family of 5 using those spaces. btw...is this considered a "mansion" in those Countries? I mean...a piano?! :-)))
y los mosquitos?
Mosquitos are something you have to accept in asia I suggest liquid mosquito repellent
@@AtelierBea thanks!
You should raising up the volume sound next time. It's too muffle and low in volume.
@harndino8789 Thanks for feedback, you can check it on my new video; notes for myself #10
Beautiful home.
Gracias
Who is the Architect?
Tropical Space - Vietnam based architecture company
beware of eath quake, this kind of structure is not strong enough to hold med earth quake
@@feryhalim2096 I donot have any idea about this situation because I am not engineer but I hope you are wrong 😅
@@AtelierBea for sure this design is exel, looks very good and inspiring me.
also have good air ventilation with all those gaps between bricks.
Since most of the brick only have small contact each other, this become the weakness when an earthquake happen.
if i were the architect, i would add reinforce concrete/WF steel column at every major wall corner and also will have reinforce concrete/ WF steel on the the top of the wall as a beam.
and cover all the column and beam with bricks to maintain this nice looking design
are there a lot of earthquakes in Vietnam ?
@@hanskloss1331 it's not very common thing actually but they are famous with their stromy seasons.
The Central Region of Vietnam is famous for BBQ sunshine and roof-ripper storms, not earthquakes.
