I have to agree. Tyco made a lot of neat accessories that made railroading fun without having to break the bank and I enjoyed buy at Toys "R" Us as a kid. I think too many others in the hobby are quick to criticized others instead of supporting them. Instead of looking at their layout and giving them a compliment, they instead criticize because your still using horn-hook couplers instead of Kadee or you didn't use the "correct" Conrail blue, all because their way is the "right" way. It's supposed to be fun. We do what we want and enjoy it.
My 8-year-old just really loved watching this, we have a train set up and going around our Christmas tree, but now we're inspired to possibly expand! Thank you for sharing. We especially liked the donut shop and the drive-in movie theater.
Love this Layout I have The Same Table Design Just Tryin To Get the Right Track Plan. Now Just Figuring out On a Twin 4x8 Design How Many Combo’s Are there? Would Love to See the Track Plans on 2 4x8’s like This.
Your layout is awesome man truly I just bought 2 blinking bridges and I'm trying to do a layout on my computer desk around my computer and everything and it still comes down to I'm gonna have to buy a board to mount my track because my desk just isn't big enough but then I started having issue of d*** this thanks huge Do I really want to set it up in here but man I love your layout seriously
Zak Wolf, you have read in a previous comment about the Brio battery-operated train I used to have. When I was in nursery school (1990-1991), I was not open to battery-operated toys because as fun as the toys were, the fun would have to stop if the batteries went dead until there was a chance to buy new batteries. But when I saw the Energizer commercials with Wile E. Coyote (late 1994), I changed my mind about battery-operated toys because I subsequently became a fan of the Energizer Bunny and when I found out Brio had introduced the aforementioned battery-operated locomotive that ran on 1 AAA battery and worked with any brand of appropriately-sized wooden train cars and wooden train track, I bought the aforementioned battery-operated train, some compatible train cars, and some wooden track. (This was the fall of 1997.) Did you have objections to battery-operated toys as a kid before seeing the Energizer Bunny?
@@ZakWolf interesting! :) you know, while watching the video i imaged my younger cousins seeing it and mistaking it as a toy town and then asking me if they could play in the toy town..and i'd have to tell them this isn't a toy..it's a train layout
where is a good place to go now for HO train stuff. Ive got boxes of old tyco engines books and all. would like to get back into it but last time i worked on a layout was when I bought a blue tyco locomotive complete with coal car from toys r us

I love the old Tyco action accessories. Too many "serious" modelers reject the concept of playing with their trains. Long live the hobby!

Zak Wolf, do you have some Robert Hall SFX album?
Also, check out this great poop called Toad’s Wintry Willies. It has some very funny jokes in it. I bet you would like it
1:59 what do those controls do?
Those control the turnout/switch tracks.
