EF offers a program called EF Language Travel where all the students are 18 or younger. But on the EF Language Courses Abroad program, EF accepts both students under 18 and over 18. At some school they go in different classes but often they are mixed in the classes. Best Matt @EF TH-cam Team
Hi there, you don't have to worry about your age. I would actually recommend studying at EF Beijing where EF has students 16-24 (and older too). Search for a video called "Live the language Beijing" and enjoy! Best Matt @EF
Hello, no you can also be 25+ (or even 100 years old)! But if you are 25+ we have more types of programs to choose from, for example business English etc. So older students are welcome! Matt @EF TH-cam Team
Hello there! The main difference is that EF Language Travel is group travel, with an activity schedule for the group (and some optional extra trips). On the EF Language Courses you normally travel independently and you are treated more as an adult - all the activities are optional, and you join the ones you want to join (otherwise you can do what you want). If you are 17 you can choose between the 2 programs, together with your parents. What country are you from? Matt @EF TH-cam Team
You can choose to stay in a resort on both programs. But remember that on the EF Language Travel program, the flight is included and also a lot of activities are inlcuded, plus the course is 2, 3 or 4 weeks long. I think you should call EF Denmark and ask them to explain a bit more, it may be easier for them to give you a better description of the 2 alternatives. Good luck! Matt @EF TH-cam Team
This program doesn't have a minimum grade. But you will be placed in a group according to your language level (tested on your first day of class). EF offers courses for all levels. To get your EF Course Certificate you have to attend the classes. Good luck! Matt @EF TH-cam Team
@robere5 - Hello there, EF has a new Italian school in Rome - it's in a historic "palazzo" but on the inside it's modern. Super location near the Pantheon and the Piazza Navona (nicest part of Rome). You can go from age 16 so since you're 17 it's perfect! You can stay in a host family or in a student residence. For the course price it's best if you call EF in your country - where are you from? You can see the phone number if you go to EF dot com /centers -------- Good luck! Matt @EF TH-cam Team
@TheMarinadehaan - thank you, glad you liked it! If you want, check out these other 2 videos showing women/girls traveling alone on a language course abroad: * Barcelona: th-cam.com/video/p9isboDgxMM/w-d-xo.html * Paris: th-cam.com/video/1_QO8LoGNpc/w-d-xo.html Best, Mariana @EF TH-cam Team
Hello Brenda, EF London is accredited by British Council and you can also get a university diploma from Hult International Business Course when you study on a long course at EF London. But to answer your question about if your Mexcican school will let you count the credits, it's best if you call EF Mexico on 01800 961 0961. Good luck! Matt @EF TH-cam Team
The thing with group travel and activity schedule seems so nice, I really want to try that, but and the same time its cheaper with language course. (: Im from Denmark. its really hard to decide. On language courses, can I there live on a resort or is it only campus?
Hi. I don't understand.. Whats the difference between Language Travels and Language Courses abroad? I can see there is a big difference between the prices. Its much cheeper with language courses. I really want to go to Malta in the summer 2013 (I'll be 17 by then), but my mom won't allow if its to expensive, and then I found language courses which seems really cheap and affordable, but I really want to know what the difference is between Language Travel and Language courses? And is it in groups?
Ja, fik lavet en sprogrejse, som så blev aflyst fordi 16 og 17 årige ikke må rejse sammen til Malta eller sådan noget, så skal sandsynligvis til enten Long Beach, Ca eller New York i stedet :)
I want to study business next year, it seams a bit complicated.. what is business about? when I have finished advanced diploma for business will it help me get a job in clothing stores, or other shops? will there be internships I can do while studying ?
Hello there, have you considered "Reveal Travel Deal" (just google it)? I have found numerous amazingly cheap hotels and even flights. This can help you to save money on your upcoming vacation too. Just go and have a look.
