Tambamedia101 "A continental currency"? A currency should be National. Then a country can print more money to stimulate economic activity and then reduce the money supply as the economy recovers and inflation takes hold.
Any country that must rely on a currency that they cannot control is therefore subject to forces beyond their control.
Also? A continental currency is just INVITING Privatization of the Currency. That would just be enslavement again.

Here are the economic sectors held by France and French companies in senegal. France and french companies hold and control the heart of the senegalese economy. They’ve been looting african countries for centuries.
    1. Orange: controls telecommunication-Internet and telephone
    2. Bollore: controls the Port
    3. Alstom, EIFFAGE, SETEC, TERRASOL, Engie and Thales, SNCF-Keolis and RATP Dev: Built and will exploit the Railways. Alstom and its suppliers have mobilized more than 4,000 french employees to manufacture these Coradia Polyvalent trains destined for Senegal. What about Senegalese workers??
    4. Air France / Corsair: controls the Airport
    5. Auchan, Carrefour: Supermarkets - are on the verge of destroying local commerce
    6. Suez: Water Management
    7. Roads and transport economy: controlled by Eiffage
    8. BICIS, Societe Generale des Banques: Main Banks in senegal are french banks not interested in providing credits to the population, when they do, they require high interest rates
    9. Total: Oil & Gas
    10. Our Currency: made in France by a french company. France is part of the management board.

Unfortunately he did not understand the importance of the military and was very Negligent on the matter. Three days after he started printing Togo currency and two days before announcing Togo withdrawal from France colonial currency called CFA, he was killed by a French legionnaire Étienne Eyadema Gnassingbe, the father of the current president of Togo.

In order to obfuscate or block the hopes of emancipation and aspirations for self-government by Olympio and the Togolese people, France requested a payment of 800 million francs from the tiny West African colony with meagre earnings as the cost of France’s colonial administration.
The last straw was his decision to break away from the CFA francs currency which was imposed on France’s colonies in 1945 at gunpoint.
Olympio set out to issue Togo’s own sovereign currency backed by the resources of the country and guaranteed by the German Bundesbank. Interesting how "Saint Malo" said the African continent is NOT enough to feed or sustain the African people as they reach a billion or more in population. Then immediately in defense of France he say that there are other countries taking resources from Africa as well as the African leaders because Africa is a TREASURE he say!!!! SO we're expected to accept that our land and resources are enough for colonial indebtedness to highly populated nations using it to survive but not enough for the African people to feed of their own mother! The failed nations are not willing to give up their luxuries gained off the backs of my people!!!!!!!

He was also the only one to respect the interviewer, and to speak in turn. He was the only one to stop when he was supposed to. The other two looked like they wanted to go outside and settle their disputes man to man. And that's fine. But maybe they can do that another time, outside of this program. There's a limited time, and you have to be fair to the other speakers.

Gaala Eri Cusman The word I would say is occupy. It was for 5 years that Italy occupy Ethiopia...they were even under fire from Ethiopian gurella fighters across the country. It was not easy/settling 5 years. You guys need to redefine what colonial means. “Colonial rule consists of the occupying power setting up administrative offices that institute foreign legal systems, infrastructure, control local politics, and recreate the existing institutions in manner based on the wishes of the colonial power” Italy got none of this in Ethiopia.

Thanks for that laugh. So, Italy is CLEAN and FREE from all accusation that mainstream media created. 2/3 Africa colonized by FRENCH. The rest colonized by British and other else. They didn't failed in History, since Italy it-self just exist as STATE NAME, but never presented the people. In Italy, Italian doesn't exist. Just Bolognese, Pugliese, Genovese, Napoletano, etc. In past Italy had 2 Republic : Republic of Genova and Republic of Venezia. They hate each others! 2/3 Italy ruled by Papal state Vatican (Marche, Emilia-Romagna, Lazio, Basilicata, etc). So, when you calling them MAFIA Italia, it means Cosa Nostra Jewish Sicily Mafia? Mafia Bari whom Albanians descents or Greek descents? Trentino who refuse to counted as Italian and speaking in Austrian-German? Where is Italians who you mention, Sir?

My friend toured France, England, and Italy this past summer and was appalled with how many Italians didn't speak English, and refused to employ the African migrants to work in the restaurants. She was so frustrated; she met so many Africans on the streets of Italy who helped her, gave her directions and were genuinely friendly, unlike the host-country nationals.

6:14 fals, To say that all the countries can leave the CFA when they wish it and that they benefit from it is only the propaganda of France and the Elysee.
No currency in his country is strong enough individually, they would suffer inflation if they leave the CFA alone or economic sanctions, such as embargoes. Due to the fact that the markets of these countries have for too long been focused exclusively on France and its partners in the European Union, the intra-African market is not very developed in West Africa.
No developed sovereign country has its currency in the public treasury of another state, it is an aberration.
The fact that the CFA is annexed to the euro is not an advantage, it allows the multinational to exploit resources at low prices and repatriate their profits in France. On the subject of stability and integration, the only integration that these countries need is integration into the African continent market. It does not serve the development of the country to have a regional market for export and import to Europe, it only enriches the EU. The stability of Africa is anything but a European issue.
To free themselves, the leaders of these countries must all leave the CFA at the same time to join a common market and a common intra-African currency. But some of its leaders are puppets, others are afraid or lax. The case of Laurent Gbagbo at the ICC shows that France is not ready to abandon its old colonial habit.
There are too many French military bases and those of its allies in Africa, more than a hundred African leaders have been murdered since independence. In fact, during the last 50 years, a total of 67 hits happened in 26 countries in Africa, 16 of those countries are french ex-colonies, which means 61% of the hits happened in Francophone Africa.
French have local medias in west Africa that is brainwashing the people with propaganda like this man 24h a day as well as french citizens, so they don't complain because they don't know anything about that and they afraid to get guilty by recognize it.
France should stop blaming African demography, that of China is much higher than that of Africa. China has developed very well, although it does not have the same resources as Africa, which is a gang-gap that Europe steals from it and which is largely sufficient for the birth rate of its population and its development.
The French language is not a profit but an alienation, if it were the case that the French begin to learn Arabic and Ingala first.
It is not a question of symbolic value but of sovereignty
