I wouldnt mind bootlegs at times. Except bootleg companies will try and charge what the official company charges or more for knockoffs so lots of times Ill just wind up getting the official. Ive gotten knockoffs of the no longer produced predators like scarface and clan leader and youre right. They do seem to look legit.
I'm not against bootlegs/KO's if they delete official copyright manufacturer's symbols on the product. Otherwise, many people are being cheated and pay large amout of money as if they are buying legit product. I recently deleted two fake Neca's Godzillas from my collection, both of them had lNeca information on their feet. The good side of KO's is that you hava an unlimited sourse of spare parts and material for customization
Not going to get the reissue of Scout and Stalker. The one big difference with the reissue apart from slightly better paint job is the necklace on Scout. I didn't want to buy him for the third time (first one I got was a bootleg riddled with issues) so I ended up making a necklace for him from scrap bootlegs I have laying around. Also did some minor repainting of his armour and Stalker's as well to me them look closer to the movies. But really appreciate you doing reviews of all the NECA reissues of the Predators to give us clear ideas. I was surprised to learn there are 5 versions of the Ultimate Jungle Hunter that have been released.
Thank you for watching my vids. I, personally, never tried to make custom versions, but I'm going to make a Wolf pred if Neca won't make a modern version.
@@MoscowTKD I keep seeing different rumours and gossips from online groups I've lurked in regarding Wolf: after the Disney acquisition of the rights to Alien and Predator, NECA is rumoured to just be making AVP figures based on P1, P2, maybe Predators, Prey and future Films and series under Disney going forwards. Since the AVP films are under different rights or something, NECA will not be doing the them anymore. But there's also rumours that Wolf will be released in some anniversary. But another rumour is that Feral is the last Predator that will ever be made by NECA and will keep reissuing all the main movie Preds until the license expires and after that, no more NECA Predators. But all of these are just rumours and so far no links or tweets from NECA. We'll just have to wait and see...
@@darthkarnage7538 Thank you for this in depth information. Yes, I also heard there are some license problems,as Neca runs its crazy Turtles expansion with no Preds and Aliens announcements.
Nice comparison, it seems that neca didn't like the original person who painted the figures.
So a year later he was sacked, and a new painter was taken on.

Thank you. I think that Neca sometimes is in a hurry, so they forget to put some accesories or make a strange painting protocols. In this case, they definitely wanted to сorrect some mistakes, also the painting techique was changed. So it's really cool that they become better.

Oh, that's cool! I think, that Berserker has too poor articulation for stop motion as it was produced in 2010.

Also, my original predator not the release. I got them right when they were released the very first run I always do that because I never like getting re-releases because the moles are always weaker or things have been changed I have found over 25 years that mostly the first versions are always the best versions. But my head paint on my stalker predator is nowhere near as spaced out as your first version so I don’t know maybe that’s a factory thing
This first version in my vid is mainly a preorder version, which came straight from the factory on the very beginning of the production. Later on (something about month), I found this figure in the official store under the same number and it was pretty much darker and had deep black wethering on the biomask, so yes, there a several variants of the very first wave. Also, I saw 3 different release numbers on the Guardian pred. The two were just the same, and one had a perfect silver, almost chrome biomask with very accurate edges of the tatoo on it. And I'm searching that particular version at the moment)

That’s weird because my original doesn’t look like your original. And I do Custom figure‘s for a living so I have bags and bags full of different heads from the same figures and every single one is somewhat different and some paint form or another. I believe it they change all the time depending on, the release in so many numbers I don’t know if there’s a sweet spot where it’s going to be the best
Yes, there may be difference in painting inside the wave. Sometimes they don't change the release date in the number, but the painting scheme may vary. For example, I'm waiting the very first release of the AVP Scar predator to make a comparasing vid between the two variants inside the same wave. And I agree that the first release usually is the best variant if we speak about old series. But modern figures may be very good, so sometimes I pick up the latest releases.
Вчера мне такой Скаут пришел второе переиздание. Практически это последний в Лост клане которого не хватало, если не считать что Борг и поврежденый Городской охотник не Ultimate, а те что раньше выходили. А так вообще получается этот Скаут переиздание лучше чем первое издание?
Ну, минимум у второго издания есть амулет как на промо фото, поэтому в этой части он лучше. А морда из торта первого издания тоже имеет свой шарм, типа как боевой раскрас аборигена)
Самое интересное Хищники Warrior, Шаман и вот этот здоровый "Каменные джунгли", до сих пор в официальных не появились. Проще на Али купить и я смотрю многие так сейчас покупают на Западе и в США. Есть уже давно на них зарубежные обзоры, и так вообще на форумах читал.
Думаю, это из-за разрушения глобальных логистических цепочек, а также из-за нулевой терпимости к коронавирусу в Китае.. Скорее всего такие обстоятельства сильно влияют на работу официальных партнеров Neca.
How can u tell if the scout predator figure a person orders is bootleg or original?
If you order from an official retailer there is no problem, all figures are legit. If you order from Aliexpress there is about 1-2 months after official release of the figure before bootlegs/KO's start to pop up.

@@user-ql2rr9up1q I think the world famous is a BBTS toy sore. In US - Walmart, Target, ToysRUs and so on, if they exist at the moment. I live in Russia, so considering obvious reasons, we have some small retailers, but with reputation, they buy from European online stores as well from BBTS. But the Scout figure is pretty old, I don't know if it is on shelves at the moment. Try Ebay for this hunting.

I want to order neca Dutch so I want to know the difference between genuine and pirated Dutch
It's a good idea then to buy a blistered and not a 30th anniv edition in that case. They are pritty easy to identify if you look at the preds' eye on biomask on card. There shoud be some sort of reflaction. And on bootlegs the eye is totally black. That's what I know.

Hi, u're welcome. I've never seen the 3d version of the Stalker Pred. But you can easily find out it by checking the production date in the number with "N", which is printed on the bottom of the box. It should differ from these in the vid. Usually bootlegs/KOs copy the very first box art and production date. I know, that there are 3 or 4 official editions of the Ult Guardian pred, which was already bootleged.

I tried my luck on Aliexpress. Sometimes they ship bootlegs/KOs and sometimes the product is legit.
