Derek "Frost" Westbrook, a Delta Force operator in New York. The objective of the mission is to destroy a Russian radio/microwave jammer placed on the Stock Exchange. Once the jammer is destroyed, the player will be extracted by a Black Hawk and must duel against Russian helicopters to reach New York Harbor which is the location of the next mission.

I would be interested to see this campaign remastered, MW3 was also the best COD imo because it continues the story from COD4, MW2 and now to MW3

You already know that if MW3 gets a remaster, the opening scene is going to be proper, with the humvee getting hit, flipping on the side, everything! rather than just a black screen.
Maybe it'll even have Rangers hopping out the Stryker, more AI, etc
Definitely, in the mw2 remastered campaign they added in the 1st actual mission (the one after the tutorial) your player getting hit by an rpg while being in a humvee and being ejected instead of the original black screen and the player waking up lol
I actually like the black screen in the beginning with nothing but the audio. It feels more authentic for some reason, and it hits you a lot harder because it leaves it up to your imagination to visualize the carnage and chaos happening.
Nah it would be all woke now a days lol the old MW3 is perfect leave it alone.
This was when game developers and the world actually thought the Russian army was a real threat

Too bad the Russian Military in this game is way more advanced and equipped than the real life version. Russia doesn't have the capability to launch an over seas assault against the US, the logistics are just beyond them. They getting rekt by Ukraine with the few weapons we supplying them with. That is why an Invasion of the USA is in a video game, cause it's a fantasy and impossible in reality. SLAVA UKRAINE 🇺🇦 🇺🇲 🙂

I'd always found it strange that a Delta operator would be rolling into their AO with their weapon on condition 4. You would imagine it would be at least condition 3. Even condition 1 if the AO is hot like it is in the game.

Did you ever think how the hell they get out of that Humvee? Frost open the door that clearly have to stop over Sandman’s door, so he could not open his door, but after Frost has getting out of the vehicle, door isn’t just not over the other one… ITS CLOSED!!! Then Sandman proceed to just falls from the humvee likes nothing…

@@dillonpeterson66 You can see the (dirty) window in Frost's door, when he opens it. So maybe it’s armored window and cannot be broken. What Sandman's window is also intact and still there?
Not only does it have the weight of the door by gravity, but also Frost's door on top and against position, and two armored windows, Sandman is a tank to open that... or he used C4 and we didn't hear it because Frost was still dazed… or it’s just a game Lol

It sounds like a bit-pick, but if the sound of explosions occurred at the right time the player sees them visually, it would kick the realism up just a few more notches.
The thing I realized while playing this game and mw2 is that none of the rifle that is being used by the npcs have any optics no holographic optic no red dot it's really weird when you noticed it at first
Mw2 has npcs with optics. Prime examñle is Ghost in MW2 with his ACOG ACR
Both allies and enemies in mw2 have optics on their weapons while in mw3 allies don't have optics just pure iron sights but the enemies have optics

In Mw2 one of the us satellites with all their defense broke and landed on russian territory. They sent people to retrive it and they thought they got it back in time but the russians had already decrypted it and figured out how to get past us defenses

1:34 that's not what EOTech with a magnifier looks like. I have the setup on my AR. It looks like you're looking through a scope but with the EOTech reticle. As in, it looks like a circle like a scope, not square.

The jammer makes them "in the blind", means they can not give order for a airstrike because it could cause casualty for men on the ground. That is why Sandman's team has to get the jammer down.

Mw3 didn't feel like a direct sequel to mw2. Probably cause the only characters that carried over were price and soap. We could have easily played as ramirez instead of frost and we'd have an emotional connection to the characters
