I am in love with your work it's all amazing. What dyes/paints do you use? Is it acrylic for the eye because it looks incredible! I was really impressed with the colour buildup in your dog portrait as well. Keep up the amazing work I love seeing your creations.

It's just a weight wrapped in leather to hold the piece down as she tools it. Otherwise, they tend to move around quite a bit, requiring you to awkwardly position yourself while tooling
The cling wrap helps keep the leather hydrated while you're tracing the pattern onto it. For simpler tracings you don't really need it, but for something like this it helps a lot.
