What I like most about these male reborn plots are the way they help others and are loyal to people. Usually the wives / girlfriends don't really matter that much, which is good since to me these are about friendship and loyalty, not romance. ML is good. I've seen him in other things and his makeup and hair are usually kinda weird, making him look sort of sick, or his head shape and size look disproportionate. The simple makeup and hair in this are the best I've ever seen him look. A lot of the co-actors (whatever you call the non-leads) were good. The poor wife was like a little prop that got moved from place to place just to further the plot along but not really matter much. Unfortunately for this actress, that made her quite boring, and it was difficult to separate her role from what her talents may or not be. Subtitles are not coming in time and a huge amount of things are not translated at all (english subs anyhow)
And the subtitles are not synced. Makes it very difficult to understand for international fans. I wish these small companies would re configure the subtitles and then alert fans. I love these chinese dramas!

This is an okay 80s male rebirth story. Can watch. Good acting. ML's wife could be casted with a prettier actress. Cannot stand that fact that everyone want to threaten the ML by sleeping with his wife. Especially her own mother who ask her to divorce to sleep with another guy. Unbelievable. Typical of a low budget drama, their daughter only has that white singlet throughout even after they became rich. Like the fact that this ML is still devoted to his wife even though she is quite dumb and lack of confidence in herself. Most 80s male rebirth stories has the ML taking every women he meets. Okay drama, can watch.
SMDH at the utter stupidity of this plot by writers,directors and producers with ZERO artistic imagination…they’re ideal of entertainment is: ML comes back just to save wife & kid..wife is drugged…plot is to encounter 1 set back after another…a better plot would be saving wife after returning then leaving to build his future with a smart wife who doesn’t buckle under pressure from greedy mother and incompetent father.
What value are you promoting with such stories? Everytime kneel down demand forgiveness, let the women be slept the man be slept. Such stories written by scoundrels. The saving grace are some of the social development imbued in the story line.
