I finally decided to start reading the Throne of Glass series, which box set was lying at the top of my bookshelves for nearly four years now. A friend from GoodReads couldn't recommend them more, and she was the one to help me decide whether to begin with the first published book or in chronological order, all while carefully avoiding any kind of spoilers! I opted for The Assasin's Blade. I think I needed this - a fresh start in a fictional world with its magic system and lore. I know little to nothing about what I will encounter in this book. But I do hope these books impact me in many ways, crush my heart and make me cry, and then happy in some moments, all at the same time. And then, I found this perfect video to accompany my reading. I love this audio used while I was reading heir of fire and just finished Kingdom of ash in hour ago still had 7:42 left on the audio so I am going to finish it for the last time which makes me sad but I will probably come back and listen to it just to hear this audio again because I love this audio so much
