My uncle restored RUSSEL in the late 1970s and early 1980s , hes a genius, i rode on the footplate of RUSSEL many times as a child, i love to see her stretching her legs !!! Yes ........the track bed wars ....!!! I remember it well even in the early 80s !!!! The farmers hated the idea ie loss of land !!! I remember " KAREN " being in steam I shot blasted John Hummels engine chassis " ISSAC " !!! still in steam
