I remember her singing songs like this in the shower just a few weeks ago, and so instead of spending my fleeting time weeping and stewing at home, I took your advice and moved right on back to the dance club as soon as I could. If you read that old 1920s Morely Callaghan book, "The Loved and The Lost" he talks about this smoky old Jazz-cat cafe called Joe Rockhead's Paradise. It was a real place, in Montreal, one of the most famous in North America for blacks. This is the type of music you would hear there. This duo is very talented. We need more places like Rockhead's Paradise to rise again and be an outlet for this talent.
