Thanks for the video. I am from South Africa and i always wanted to drive in Australia but i could not find a way. Now i am driving in the USA but the real trucking feel is not here anymore. Everyone for himself out here now no more trucker camaraderie

I drive a road train and i can tell you that after a week or so it's not a big deal. It just becomes another truck but the first couple of times i couldn't stop looking in the mirror and kept thinking i can't believe I'm driving something this big.

Is there a lot of proper outback runs likes this? I’m over in Perth getting into it but want to find runs like cairns to Broome / Darwin via the savannah etc. is it possible to get those sort of gigs these days?
