    Dear Mr. Reed and Mr. Kurczak,
    after several years of studying vedic charts of scientists, especially prominent physicists, I always seem to find at least one planet in Revati in Rasi or Navamsa chart (it is usually Venus, Jupiter or Moon). The most famous example happens to be Albert Einstein, with his Venus in Revati (pada 3) forming a Neecha Bhanga Raja Yoga with Mercury in the 10th house. His Navamsa ascendant is also in Revati (pada 4).
    Do you have an idea on why this might be the case? Other examples are: Lisa Randall, Edward Witten, Nima Arkani-Hamed, Alain Aspect, Lisa Kaltenegger, Richard Muller…
    Thank you very much.

    Thank you so so much for doing this Ryan and Michael! Looking at the Nakshatras of the bhava cusps has become one of my favourite things to look at in charts since it is so revelling and accurate.
    In respects to Revati, Pushan is said to "cause others to thrive" so maybe if one has a career indicator, like the 10th bhava cusp, one will use their knowledge of the Infinite or "passive time" to protect those in their journey and help them to thrive, could this be?
    Can't wait for the next part of the series!

    I don't understand what is being said at the beginning about the past life and how it has to do with the nakshatra.

    Hello Ryan I just have a general question on astrology.I am really interested in astrology both western and eastern and I am from greece.Here in grece people have a superficial knowledge on astrolofy mainly western.My question is simple.I know that in vedic astrology the house system mainly used is whole sign house houses division and this is what I use myself when reading my chart.I use this system also in my western chart because it just seems logical to me.But if we use a whole sign house system what is the point of taking the exact point of ascendant and midheaven if you like??For example someone has his ascendant on 22 degrees capricorn.The whole sign of capricorn represents his first house including the preceeding 21 degrees...So what is the point of pining down the ascendant except for determing the actual sign someone is born in???With that in mind it doesn't matter if you are born in 5 degrees capricorn or 29 degrees capricorn rising!Or does it matter??please help me if I am wrong with a simplistic answer of your perspective on this please.I use the whole sign house system because it is simple and its is also the one tha ancient greeks and indians used i have read.....and i also think it is the most accurate.So my question comes to this simple thing:what is the meaning of the exact point of the ascendant?Thanks for reading my comment and Namaste!

      House cusps, also known as bhava cusps, are now commonly calculated by looking around at the sky where you were when you were born. If you look straight up from the location where you were born and project that vector onto the eccliptic (the zodiac) you will get your 10 house cusp (the midheaven). BUT, because the Earth is a sphere and tilted, this cusp does not always happen 90 degrees in relation to the ascendant. It may not be in the 10th zodiac sign from the ascendant. If you live near the north pole, the 10th house cusp may even be in the same sign as the ascendant. Truly bizarre, but this is what the astronomy says when you compare it to the astrology.
      THE INDIAN astrologers on the other hand, calculated the astronomy while living at the equator. Since it was calculated at the equator for all birth charts, nearly every birth chart there will have the houses spaced 30 degrees apart, appearing to be even houses. This is probably why the equal house system is still so popular, especially in India. The Greeks and Persians probably copied it from the Indians because it was so easy too. Other modern ways to calculate house cusps include Campanus and Regiomontanus systems.
      The exact point of the ascendant itself usually represents your physical body and the shape that your actions take in this life. I've usually had insight looking into the nakshatra at the person's ascendant for example. You can also measure more accurate planetary aspects to the ascendant and its location in Varga charts if you know its exact degrees in the zodiac sign.

      silentboom77 Thanks for your comment!...I live in greece and we mostly use western astrology here but I also like eastern....I am a pisces rising and my ascendant is in the 12th degree.The previous 11 degrees are also in my firsth house i think.I believe you can't have 2 energies in a same house....Fore example if i use any other house system than whole sign house system my first house would contain a part from the sign Aries.....but this cannot be true.Then I would have 2 house rulers which is impossible i think. I also think that if i was born near the north or south pole it would be possible to not have an ascendant either!!!!The sun for six months doesnt rise......And I also think that the midheaven is just a point and its doesnt signify the beggining of any house......The 10th house is the tenth sign from the rising sign.It always works for me.Let my ask you something.......since Saturn is the natural significator for the 10th house how can we say that the midheaven signifies the 10th house cusp when the mideaven is about the sun????

    • @Meridiu5
      @Meridiu5 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      It depends on what system you follow and what the reasoning is behind the association, I'm not sure what you mean by natural signifactor. But intuitively Saturn can be a signifactor for the 10th house because saturn also rules the 10th zodiac sign, capricorn.
      The midheaven is not about the sun exclusively in any direct ways, although the sun has a lot of strength when it is in the chart near the midheaven (metaphorically because it is so visible in the sky during that specific time of day).
