I also use tertell and is solide like a rock!!
Make sure you mix it right and cure it extra time, it gets rock hard!!! I use it on all kinda stuff!
Make sure you also put an extra lump in it. Clean the surface! I even glue my water tab to the sink!

One other viewer said I didn't mix it right.
Thanks for all the pointers, thanks for posting.

    Hi Jim,
I think first your mixing was a bit short , and as 2 component system, a proper mixing is key. Your poor mixing may cause reduced properties of that glue. I use this kind of glue (Tertell ) and after drying , this looks like stone hard!
Thus, regarding your handle, it's best to apply the glue both sides of the cracked handle, which should harden far more ( but at least thicker coat than you did )... Hope the best

Thanks for the info. Probably didn't mix it well enough and on the handle good idea putting on both sides. Yes probably didn't have enough.

    Wire cutters
I put a paperclip through the hole then glued it all. Later filed off the extra and it held.

‎‏Thanks for the great video, I have a broken part of my exhaust car, can I use this glue to stick a piece of metal to it for a long time? (I want to use this glue instead of welding)

    • @JimMcLaren1950

If I was to try anything I would use JB weld. I did use JB Weld on a wood stove so that the latch would hold in place.
I am not sure that it would work on your muffler but JB Weld works a lot better than the stuff showing in the video and JB weld comes in a larger size the tubes in the video are small and would take a lot more to attempt the job.

Not even 4 minutes in and he is going to fail! The piece on the wire cutter is supposed to pivot! If you "weld" it in, it will not work!

Yeh I know this stuff it's been around a long time now, many years, it used to be liquid metal it was called you could buy it in big tubes, it never worked then and it obviously still doesn't work.
The idea is good but the product just doesn't work.
Who wouldn't like to use a glue that actually worked for what it was made for, but such things are very hard to find.
That plastic break, you might have more success using super glue with Styrofoam, there's a guy on youtube been doing this stuff, not tried it yet but I know the super glue and baking soda thing works pretty good.
I suspect the super glue with the Styrofoam would work as it's a type of plastic and super glue works well on plastic, also it melts that foam making it a hard substance.
But the metal part you might be better off trying to weld that back together or file it down and use a plate and attach the spring thing to the plate, if you still have the parts that is.
