Thanks for making this video! I have a really great starter, but I always worry about something happening to it. Now I can dehydrate some to have just in case. 😊
This is great, and you can take this even step further by grinding the waffers into powder with a blender, then use one or two teaspoons of the powder per loaf of bread. Just rehydrate as per the video. Bonus, it will store in a much smaller container.
This video is awesome. I'm traveling to Colorado to visit family and wanted so bad to share my sourdough bread with them. I will definitely be doing this. One question I have is should I feed my starter before putting it on the parchment paper to roll out or not? Thanks for this information.
OMG, it worked. I'm so happy that I can travel with my starter. Next trip is Florida to see my cousin next month, can't wait. Be blessed.@@AKneadtoBake
You are brilliant what a great way to travel with it never thought of doing that I am new to the process of making sourdough Products but when I saw your channel I new this one was for me! Thanks for this great tip!
Thanks so much🌹i finally have an established fruity smelling starter and will be traveling next week. Will make my own dry starter chips thanks to your simple method😃
Hola, no entendí bien.
I am triying to start my sourdough again from some dryer one and all i get the next day is a division of flour in the bottom n a light broen liquid on the top, what i am doing wrong? Please help me
I'm honestly just amazed that there actually is a video about this
Enjoy it! Thank you for watching!
Forwarding this to my mum, she’s visiting me in a few months and I need her 5 year old starter
That’s great!!! It works well!

You don’t need to feed it previously

When you feed your sourdough starter, do you et it rice after outside or did you put it in the fridge directly ? Thanks for a great baking recipes!
I put it in the fridge directly
is it best to dry just fed starter, or when its at peak?
It doesn’t really matter when
Dankeschön Für dass!!!!!
Bitte schön
You left it in room temperature to dry?
Yes
I am triying to start my sourdough again from some dryer one and all i get the next day is a division of flour in the bottom n a light broen liquid on the top, what i am doing wrong? Please help me
It means that needs more flour, make a stiffer dough that should work
Can you please explain when you say Feed with the same quantity. Which quantity? You mean 100ml water and 100gr flour?
Yes
Thank you so much
My pleasure
