A Day in the Life of an AI Engineer

- In this video, we are going to take a look at a normal day for me as an AI Engineer. I will show you my daily routine and what I do throughout the day. Usually, I have a bunch of coding sessions each day and then I also hit the gym to work out. I really enjoy my work and life balance right now and I try to be as efficient and productive as possible. My happiness and life quality have increased significantly over the last year and I have figured out what works best for me at the moment.

Actualy working in real AI is very diffucult. Most of the engineers not doing AI things they usually do some ETL, using some frameworks but just know the what is input and output and doing some things for testing model.
Real AI field like working on Signal Processing you cant build a solution if you dont have deeply understanding of signal processing steps(statistical concepts, math concepts(like fourier transform) etc.)
If you want to be a normal AI guy follow these steps: Data Analyst->Data Scientist(work on spesific area like Nlp, computer vision etc.) -> AI Engineer
If you want to become a exceptional AI Engineer, have background C++, follow Master and phd...(actually list is fcking long)

What should I do if I have a bachelors in computer science and engineering and some experience in data science in form of basic projects like working on sample datasets. All about personal preference and what area u like the most. But no matter what industry I’d suggest to build a personal brand and be visible and get credibility. Then you will get way more opportunities and freedom

What's the best way to start career as Ai Engineer after High school
You can for sure start without a degree and then just grind AI. At the end of the day skills are better than a degree if you have the skills and mindset to do it on your own. I’d prob recommend to take a degree, maybe just bachelor and then just grind hard on the side line to learn ai/ml engineering. But you need to be able to show companies your skills in some way

Do you need strong math skills?
Not strong math skills. Especially not if you want to do practical things mainly. University calculus is more than fine for understanding the basics. Its more need to deeper you want to go into research

Yeah kinda the same in most cases

I’m from Italy and in high school I studied programming and telecommunications and in uni I went for a political science degree and I’m in my second year (I regret it 😢) but now I have the possibility once I finish to go to Rotterdam to uni and I wanted to study computer science and the get a Master in Ai do you think it’s a good idea? Which Bachelor’s degree would you recommend between computer science and artificial intelligence with data science ?
Really depends on your personal interests but they kinda go hand in hand. You can do a computer science and focus more on the AI and data part. You will prob get introduced to more different things in computer science. If I would do it over id go all in ai from the beginning but all is personal preference

Its joke I know but, if someone take serious not really actually. Working in a good AI teams i very hard most of them have phD, low level programming skills(like C++ or Rust), knowing GPU programming... list continue like that
