I have friends here in NY who were die hard NBA & NFL fans, until I put them on to the Champions League and now they’re hooked. In December they experienced their first World Cup and witnessed the passion and emotion it brings out. Their first World Cup final was probably the best final in history. They haven’t look back since. That’s why this sport is thee beautiful game. Hope you come to at least respect it and good luck on your fútbol journey ⚽️

i recently started watching the NBA and there is commericals even when they are taking freethrows its insane, and the atmomsphere is so forced its just some guy with a microphone shouting DEFENSE
The reason they attempt dolphin kicks,scorpion kicks and other acrobatic finishes is because of instinct...once they have a feeling they wont be able to head or kick the ball,they become creative
Being a goalie is awesome, it's one of those things that you just gotta try and see for yourself. Imagine pushing a ball out of the far corner that would've gone in. You feel like a king. It's a special feeling a bit comparable to scoring a goal for the keepers. I loved it
if you think soccer goalies are lonely and these guys put lots of spin on the ball, you should look up some best saves/goals in handball, a sport pretty popular in europe but mostly unknown in the states.

Yeah, not a really good way to show the skills and the beauty of the game, it's more like a music video on speed ... In most of the cases one perspective, where you can see the whole action in one spot plus one slow motion of the same material (without switching the perspective) would work much better!
Brother, you were actually pretty spot-on when you talked about experience and instinct in some of those funky ways these guys scored the goals. I played my whole life and I scored some pretty creative goals, and it's just all about instinct that takes over. Based on the angle of the ball, the speed of the ball, the height of the ball, all plays into your split second decision on how you want to play it. That's for balls that are played into you from other areas. As far as some of the more creative goals when guys have possession of the ball, that's the same as far as instinct. You're just instantly reacting to what the other players are doing and it has to just come to you. The best players have that thing always talked about in sports where the game just slows down and they react.
To appreciate the skill, imagine a basketball player shooting with both left and right. Or a quarterback throwing with both left and right.
Putting a spin on the ball is pretty easy if you kick it a certain way,most of the time when you kick it there's a spin on the ball but there are ways of generating more spin by using different techniques to kick the ball,some players can generate crazy spin though and make the ball do serious curves,being a goalie is very difficult and takes a certain person to be able to do it well, goalkeepers are known for being a little crazy 😂 they are usually shouting a lot and diving at feet to get the ball so bravery helps a lot too,these players have been playing since they could walk,in Europe they start very early and get picked up by teams under ten years old a lot of the time so it's second nature by the time they hit pro level . . .hope this helps

American Football ought named correctly as 'catch egg and run'. Impossible to understand how a game played mostly with hands (except fieldgoal) could have been named football.

I played from the age of 3 and the spin and back heels etc are all just like riding a bike by the time your older. Obviously there is levels to the skill aspect.

Theese goals were good, but not the best, theese goals were just screamers. To me the best goal from 2022 was the one from Di María at the world cup final, that was an awesome fast and clean counterattack and team effort in the most epic context possible: The world cup final.

Football is played with your feet if the balls go out of play at the sides it is thrown in from over your head handling is only by the goalie. Is it just me or is the editing of the original video just horrible? The rapod cuts between camera angles and distracting music make it difficut for me, as someone who is familiar with football, to clearly see what's happening.
Tbh to most of these i dont think its instinct but more so of the player getting an idea and saying "fuck it lets go for it" and then it workibg cuz these are pros so they gonna get it more often than a regular joe😂 scored a couple of bangers when i played for a few years back in the day and to me it was just like an idea and then trying it and it actually working 😂 most often not but in football u always get multiple chances

In Europe it's the Champions'League. And in Latin America, it's the rivalries between big football nations, like Brazil and Argentina.

IT'S FOOTBALL & now you see why. What you play in America is like Rugby but for some reason you are all covered up in padding & a helmet, why as nothing much happens? Our Rugby players have scrums etc & just wear shorts & a T shirt. We'll never understand that American ball game it's quite frankly very boring & can't see too many skills needed on a rather small pitch in comparison
